Is Taylor Lautner Getting Too Much Attention For His Fine Form?

Taylor Lautner was the man of the evening at Friday's Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party, and in an interview he addressed all the attention he's received for his bulked-up body — which we see a whole lot of in the shirtless previews for New Moon. He said, "It's actually quite uncomfortable knowing so many people are seeing that. . . . It's a little bit embarrassing!" At other times Taylor has seemed not to mind discussing his new muscles, and he's never been modest on the red carpet, but he is dealing with a lot at only 17. So, tell us — do you think Taylor is getting too much attention for his fine form?

How did this turn into a conversation about sexual ethics? I don't think that's what the question was asking. I mean, Taylor Lautner did what was required according to the story - he wanted to keep the role of Jacob, so he bulked up, as Jacob did, and runs around minus a shirt, as Jacob does. And a lot of people happen to think he looks pretty good! Yes, he's 17 and legally a minor, but soon he'll turn 18 and people will stop harping on about how creepy it is to be ogling an underage guy. I can think of many underage females who have been seen as sex objects - double standards, anyone? I'm 27 and I think he looks good, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sleep with someone underage. Ok, rant over! :P

I'm almost 15, so for me, Taylor is almost the right age. I think he is extremely hot, but even so, I still see him as Sharkboy and Elliott in 'Cheaper By The Dozen 2' when his character had a crush on a young Alyson Stoner. I wouldn't mind dating him, however, but that's unlikely, so I'll just admire from afar. But for people who are older than him - say, older than 18 or 19 - I find it weird for them to be ogling his body. I don't know why, probably because he's still technically a teenager. But, then again, I'm a teenager too, so it's okay for me. :P

Look, I don't agree with minor abuse. But 17 is a fine line and usually decided by the law, as the age of consent varies worldwide.It is 16 in Canada in fact, as well as France - so are the French and Canadians sexually depraved? Laws do not define ethics. Would there be a difference between a consensual one night stand between a 17 and an 18 yo and a 17 and a 21 yo? What is it about turning 18 that makes it alright? What about a week before turning 18? I'm just trying to make a point that things are not as black and white.

I'm 22 and even though I felt grown up at 17 once I hit my twenties (and I'm still young) I realized that I had even more growing to do or that I could still mature some more. Yes, lots of kids had had sex and such but that doesn't justify anything or make it better. Get some perspective.

The picture on the left makes me laugh b/se he's just a little kid goofing off. He looks hot in the picture on the right, but I always forget he is only 17! He worked hard to get the muscle and he's always talking about it...of course he's going to get attention for it!

Oh please. Get over it. He is 17 and has the body of Adonis. I am 26 and would practice yoga in bed with him, so what? Trust me, no one at 17 is that innocent, and those calling him a child need to either stop pretending he doesn't turn you on, or climb in the time machine and move to Maryland in 1665. He is not even my type, looks to A&F for me, but for a night of fun romping, it might have to do :P And it;s not creepy. If he was 12, ok, I give it to you. But 17, working professional? This is not an issue anywhere other than our old U S of Puritan A.
