In March of this year, 15-year-old Eli Reimer became the first person with Down syndrome to trek to Mt. Everest's Southern base camp. Making the notoriously difficult climb took Eli and his family a year of training and preparation. The Reimers — who undertook the effort to raise money and awareness on behalf of the disabled around the world — are now sharing a very personal, never-before-seen look at Eli's road to his record-setting achievement.
