Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie graced the red carpet in New Orleans last night at a screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Brad's passion about this movie seems almost as much about the city and the connection he is quite literally building there as it does the film itself. At the premiere he said, “I'm telling you, [New Orleans] did something else for the film. It suddenly grounded it in a way that wouldn't have worked in other places. You know, there's magic and rhythms to New Orleans, that something mystical could happen here. . . I don't have to speak for New Orleans. New Orleans speaks pretty well for itself as it is." The couple looked spectacular as Brad proudly showed his love for the woman in white and city that have captured his heart.
Sweet New Trailer For The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Sweet New Trailer For The Curious Case of Benjamin Button The new trailer for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is even more informative and interesting than the others that have come before it, and I am so intrigued by the eerie whimsy of it all. Brad Pitt plays Benjamin Button, a man who is born old and ages backwards, growing younger as the years go by. As an elderly child (yeah. . . that's right, I think), he befriends a little girl, Daisy, who grows older in the regular way, so at some point the two are the same age, "meeting in the middle."

The story, along with the girl's reddish-brown hair remind me a little bit of The Time Traveler's Wife, the film version of which may be hitting theaters at the same time as Benjamin Button: Dec. 25.
This new trailer gives me goosebumps, a mixture of the good kind of chills and the willies. To see for yourself, read more
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt: Get the Lil Girl an Agent!
While the world anxiously waits for the Jolie-Pitt twins to arrive, here's a sneak peek at their big sister, Shiloh, 2, making her silver screen debut in daddy Brad's movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which will be in theaters at Christmas. Us is reporting that the fair haired babe is the child cradled by her father's character as they watch a yellow balloon float away in this movie trailer.
First Look: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button With Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett

Some folks are already declaring "Oscar!" just based on this Spanish-language trailer for the eerie Brad Pitt-Cate Blanchett movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I can definitely see where they're getting that feeling, as the trailer makes it look like the film succeeds in capturing the other-worldly atmosphere of the F. Scott Fitzgerald story on which it's based.
As ComingSoon puts it, the story follows "a man (Brad Pitt) who is born in his eighties and ages backwards. A man, like any of us, unable to stop time. We follow his story set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the twenty-first century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be." The post continues on to promise "a time traveler's tale of the people and places he bumps into along the way, the loves he loses and finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time."
Whoa, that's a loaded movie. But if anyone can handle it, it's Fight Club and Zodiac director David Fincher. Benjamin Button opens in theaters December 19 (oh, look at that, right when people start getting Oscars on the brain!). To check out the trailer which made my stomach all squirmy, read more
Brad Knows How to Have A Good Time
Usually smoking hot Brad looked a little silly while taking a break from filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button yesterday, but I suppose the wardrobe can't be held against him. He may be stuck working in Montreal while his kiddies and Angie are back in Prague, but it sounds like the family had a great time over the weekend celebrating Shiloh's birthday. There were balloons (thrilling stuff people)! It's no surprise they had a blast because according to Us, Brad can make a fun time just about anywhere. "One time, when the kids were bored, [Pitt] had them all throwing empty pizza boxes as Frisbees,” says a source. “Obviously, Shiloh was too young to join in, but you could hear her laughing.” Yup, just another glimpse into the life of the rich and famous.

Cate Blanchett Says Marriage is Insanity
Cate is busy at work on her film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which also stars Brad Pitt. The film is about a romance between a 30 year old woman and a 50 year old man who ages backwards. Hopefully, Cate won't have to romance Brad the entire time he's an old man. It's probably all the same to her. She and Brad are good friends from their work together in Babel, and she's also happily married. Staying married in Hollywood is no easy task either, but Cate doesn't seem to have any illusions. She knows it's hard to hold down a marriage in any profession. Here's more:

"I think marriage is all about timing," says the actress, who met her husband, Australian playwright Andrew Upton, on the set of a TV show in 1996. "Getting married is insanity; I mean, it's a risk – who knows if you're going to be together forever? But you both say, 'We're going to take this chance, in the same spirit."
Well it sounds like she and her husband have it all worked out. They've already been married for 10 years so she knows that of which she speaks.

Brad Goes Undercover for a New Role
Brad may have been featured as one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive, but he's not looking so sexy in these pics. Brad is back in New Orleans for his latest role which has him dressed up in a fat suit. This project is for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. In the movie, Brad pairs up with Cate Blanchett once again, but this time she plays a younger woman who he falls in love with. Wonder how Angelina feels about Brad's new look.
