Today on The View, '80s pop stars Tiffany and Debbie Gibson — who are performing together on a tour this Summer! — opened up about their rumored feud and the motivation behind their Playboy spreads. On The View today, Lady Gaga talked openly about the recent death of 27-year-old musician Amy Winehouse and some of the similar struggles she's gone through as an artist. Lady Gaga was unapologetic about her late friend's lifestyle, saying she wasn't the one who needed to learn a lesson, the world (and the media) needed to learn a lesson about kindness and the pressures of super-stardom. She also talked about her own history with hard drug use and how it was her father who helped her recover from it. Six-year-old Eden Wood has retired from life as a beauty queen to focus on her music career. While on tour, the Toddlers & Tiaras alumna stopped by The View to perform her new single, "Cutie Patootie." Her mom hopes it will bring Eden closer to Miley Cyrus status. The women of The View had much more patience for Eden compared to the hosts of The Talk last week; Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, and Leah Remini couldn't hold back looks of disapproval while watching Eden's performance on their show. To be fair, it looks like her mom toned down Eden's hair and makeup for Barbara Walters. Watch Eden sing and her mom defend it all.

Fran Drescher spoke with the ladies on The View today about her relationship with her gay ex-husband, and how she turned what many women would consider a horror story into her new sitcom, Happily Divorced. Fran seems surprisingly OK with her ex coming out, even calling him her "soul mate" and "best friend." She may have taken it so well because of the timing: he waited until years later, after her battle with cancer and when she was already in love with someone else. Dr. Oz couldn't leave The View today without dispensing some helpful diet tips. He talked about a fiber tablet that he thinks everyone should take before meals that will help to curtail the amount of food your body will want to eat during the meal. The only drawback to the pill is that it may leave a person feeling gassy. Whoopi had no problem with this side effect and let everyone in the studio know about it.

Today Lady Gaga's latest album, Born This Way, dropped, and she donned her best 18-inch platforms for her interview on The View. The ladies showed a video Gaga took of a protester outside one of her concerts who condemned her for supporting gay people and even managed to call Catholicism a "screwy religion." See how she handled it and what she had to say about encountering other closed-minded people.

Before the royal wedding there was the royal breakup. Royal biographer Andrew Morton came on The View today to discuss what Kate Middleton's friends thought about the now-newlyweds' split a few years back — specifically they thought she was better off without Prince William! Morton's new book William and Catherine: Their Story is out today, and it includes details and stories from people who knew the couple closely, from courtiers to college pals, as well as other information we may not have heard in the weeks before the nuptials. As part of their "research" for the film, the leads of the new comedy Bridesmaids visited a male strip club.  Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, and Melissa McCarthy talk about what that experience was like and how they couldn't stop laughing the entire night.
