The 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which were hosted by Tracy Morgan, took over the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday!

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which were hosted by Tracy Morgan, took over the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday! The stars hit the red carpet to kick off the night and then made their way inside to get the fun started. Bruno Mars stuck to his usual suited-up look in a red ensemble to open the show, while Carly Rae Jepsen, who won top digital song and two other honors, debuted hair of the same hue when she took the microphone to announce Icona Pop's performance of "I Love It." Shania Twain handed out the first statue of the evening to Nicki Minaj, who won top rap artist, while Selena Gomez took the stage to perform "Come and Get It." Tracy had a little fun in front of the audience by challenging Psy to a dance off while Macklemore and Ryan Lewis teamed up to sing their top rap song, "Thrift Shop."

Taylor Swift — who picked up six awards before the show even started and two more, including artist of the year, during the broadcast — was another of the evening's performers, belting out "22" after walking the carpet in a bright blue Zuhair Murad dress. Other big winners included Rihanna and Gotye, each with four trophies, as well as Justin Bieber with the milestone award.

30 Rock's Stars Celebrate Their Final Season in NYC

Celebrities came out to celebrate the final season of 30 Rock in NYC last night.

Celebrities came out to celebrate the final season of 30 Rock in NYC last night. The show's stars Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan, Jack McBrayer, and Katrina Bowden hit the red carpet and partied inside, though Alec Baldwin was missing from the action. The first episode of their seventh season premieres this evening, which means fans might get an explanation of the Liz Lemon baby rumors that got started when one of the show's producers tweeted a photo of Tina holding a baby during filming in August. Make sure to check out pictures from the premiere of 30 Rock before tuning in tonight.

Why Stop Now Trailer: Jesse Eisenberg Is a Piano Prodigy With a Big Problem

Jesse Eisenberg stars as Eli, a musical genius who just wants to get into a piano program, in the dramatic comedy (or is it a comedic drama?) Why Stop Now.

Jesse Eisenberg stars as Eli, a musical genius who just wants to get into a piano program, in the dramatic comedy (or is it a comedic drama?) Why Stop Now. Interfering with his ability to pursue his scholastic goals is his alcoholic, drug-addicted mother, Penny, played by Melissa Leo. He's already used to taking care of his little sister, but now, on the day he's scheduled to audition for his spot in a music program, he must rally his mom to enter rehab. Of course, it's not as simple as it sounds, and the family gets tangled up in an adventure with Penny's outlandish drug dealer, Sprinkles (Tracy Morgan).

The premise of this movie makes it sound like a typical drama: kid has a gift, kid can't flourish with his dysfunctional surroundings, kid eventually escapes and makes it big (or not). That's also how the preview begins, before it takes a sharp right turn into wacky comedy territory. I'm a little concerned about the uneven tone, but the preview is also reminiscent of Little Miss Sunshine, which is a good thing. The movie opens in limited release on Aug. 17, but check out the trailer when you read more.

Tracy Morgan Apologizes For Homophobic Rant — Do You Forgive Him?

Longtime Tracy Morgan fan Kevin Rogers was severely disappointed by what he heard last Friday at the comedian's show, and took to Facebook to share what happened.

Longtime Tracy Morgan fan Kevin Rogers was severely disappointed by what he heard last Friday at the comedian's show, and took to Facebook to share what happened. Kevin, who is gay, says he expected some good-humored gay jokes at some point, but there was nothing funny about the homophobic turn Tracy's show took. Kevin wrote on Facebook:

He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some a*s and beat those other little f*ckers that bully them, not whine about it. He said if his son . . . was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death.

After news of the antigay rant spread, the 30 Rock star and former SNL cast member apologized. In a statement released today, Tracy said: "I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.”

Can you get over his "jokes," or have you soured to Tracy forever?

Jimmy Fallon and Tracy Morgan didn't let a woman sitting between them stop any high-fiving and cheering during last night's Knicks vs. Magic game at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Jimmy was happy to see the home team win with his former SNL boss Lorne Michaels during free hours when he wasn't working on his late night show. He'll be back on the small screen tonight following a stop by Martha Stewart, and may welcome special guest Stephen Colbert on Friday — Jimmy and his team are trying to raise $26,000 in the next three days for charity in order to get Stephen in their studio to perform Rebecca Black's "Friday"! Jimmy, who recently added another job to his plate as the virtual guide of a new tour at Universal Studios, has also recently gotten into the food business. His Late Night Snack from Ben and Jerry's is a hit, counting even supermodel Brooklyn Decker among the fans.

Tina, Alec, Tracy, and Pregnant Jane Celebrate 100 30 Rock Episodes!

Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin had the honor of cutting a big cake in the shape of 30 Rockefeller Plaza last night as they celebrated the 100th episode of 30 Rock.

Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin had the honor of cutting a big cake in the shape of 30 Rockefeller Plaza last night as they celebrated the 100th episode of 30 Rock. The duo was joined by Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski, who says her pregnancy has made her trendier than ever, and other stars of the show. The celebration wasn't held in the iconic Manhattan building, but across the river at Queens's Silvercup Studios where much of the series is shot. TIna and her cast were the ones celebrating the momentous occasion, but it turns out fans are getting a present too with a special one-hour episode on April 21! It's been a busy few days for Tina in particular, as she balances filming with her philanthropy and writing careers. We weren't treated to a new installment last night, but hopefully they'll be back to owning the Thursday NBC lineup next week.

Sundance Snapshot: Channing Tatum Shows His Chops in The Son of No One

Though my time at the Sundance Film Festival is winding down, I've still got plenty of goodies to share with you all.

Though my time at the Sundance Film Festival is winding down, I've still got plenty of goodies to share with you all. The Son of No One piqued my interest for its star-studded cast, and though the cop thriller wasn't my favorite of the festival's offerings, it's not without its merits. Here's how the film measures up.

  • Who's behind it? Dito Montiel (Fighting, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints) wrote and directed the film, which stars Channing Tatum, Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, and Tracy Morgan.
  • What's it about? The film captures two different times in the life of Jonathan White (Tatum). In 2002, he's living in Staten Island with his wife (Holmes) and young daughter. He commutes two hours a day to work as a rookie in the police force, and his personal life and career are put into peril when he starts receiving threatening messages about his haunting past. The other half of the movie shows Jonathan as a young boy living in the projects, and the audience soon learns that the older Jonathan has some serious skeletons in his closet that could destroy everything he's built.

The Son of No One Trailer: Katie Holmes and Channing Tatum Get Gritty

We're covering the Sundance Film Festival from Park City, and even if you can't be there too, you can still get a peek at some of the films that'll be premiering at the festival.

We're covering the Sundance Film Festival from Park City, and even if you can't be there too, you can still get a peek at some of the films that'll be premiering at the festival. Case in point: The Son of No One trailer has just dropped, starring Channing Tatum, Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, and Tracy Morgan. Tatum heads up the stellar cast (Juliette Binoche and Ray Liotta also star) as a young cop assigned to work in the New York City neighborhood he grew up in. Though he works hard and tries to live a decent life with his family (Holmes plays his wife), a huge secret in his past is still chasing him.

Tatum has gone dark and dramatic before (the director of this film, Dito Monteil, also cast Tatum in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints), but the real surprise is seeing Morgan, as a childhood friend of Tatum's, get serious. There's a foreboding feel to the thriller, and I'm curious to find out what you think, so watch when you read more

Liev Schreiber's Kids Shared Playdates With "Normal" Angelina Jolie's Children

Liev Schreiber and Ewan McGregor added a little manjoyment to last night's "Darker Side of Green" debate series moderated by Tracy Morgan at the Bowery Hotel in NYC.

Liev Schreiber and Ewan McGregor added a little manjoyment to last night's "Darker Side of Green" debate series moderated by Tracy Morgan at the Bowery Hotel in NYC. The previous event, which was in LA, brought out other stars like Andy Samberg and Kristen Bell two weeks ago. While Liev's Salt costar Angelina Jolie is off handling the press duties abroad, he was happy to chat about his experience working with her. He said, "I was very surprised by how normal she is, and how easy she is to work with." He also shared about how his kids, Sasha and Kai, got along with the six Jolie-Pitt children, saying, "There were playdates, which were amazingly fun." Accompanying the guys was Michelle Trachtenberg, who was on a break from shooting Gossip Girl. She weighed in on her former costar Taylor Momsen's outrageous rocker style, saying, "Oh goodness! I wish I had the legs to rock those styles."
