Watch the Explosive New Trailer For Transfomers 3

We've seen a couple of teasers for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but now there's finally a full-length preview to ogle.

We've seen a couple of teasers for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but now there's finally a full-length preview to ogle. Don't expect much in the way of dialogue, though: this preview is mostly made up of explosions and a perfectly made-up Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showing off her best "concerned" face. We're also able to glean a bit more in the way of plot: this time, the Deceptacons are going for the jugular with a terrorist attack, led by a giant, spider-size robot. It's all very Michael Bay, as shots of the air and land attacks are interspersed with Shia LaBeouf yelling for Autobot leader, Optimus Prime.

The film opens on July 1, but you can see the trailer when you read more

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Comes Back to Earth in the New Teaser

Now this is more like it!

Now this is more like it! The original teaser for Transformers: Dark of the Moon definitely left us feeling a little disappointed (Apollo 11, really?), but this latest promo is more of a crowd-pleaser. First of all, there's Shia LaBeouf! The actor makes an appearance this time around, alongside his new lady Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. But the real star of the preview is definitely the action. Take a peek after the jump.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Teaser — Where's the LaBeouf?

When I noticed that the first teaser for Transformers: Dark of the Moon was out, I got excited for a glimpse of Shia LaBeouf vs. the Robots, round three.

When I noticed that the first teaser for Transformers: Dark of the Moon was out, I got excited for a glimpse of Shia LaBeouf vs. the Robots, round three. I would have even settled for a montage of explosions and pointed looks set to epic music with no dialogue. Unfortunately, the preview doesn't have any footage of LaBeouf, or any of the franchise's major actors. Instead, it's two and a half minutes explaining what "really" happened when Neil Armstrong and Apollo 11 landed on the moon. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the trailer is going: apparently Armstrong actually discovered the first transformers and never told anyone about it.

Obviously, the premise is absurd, but nobody's expecting realism from a Transformers movie. What I was hoping for was something to get me preemptively excited for a film that won't hit theaters until next Summer, but this trailer is a letdown. Maybe I'm being too harsh though; check it out for yourself and tell me how you feel about it when you read more

Shia and Rosie Transform Into a Director and an Angel

Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley laughed between takes while filming yet another very intense scene for Transformers 3 in LA yesterday.

Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley laughed between takes while filming yet another very intense scene for Transformers 3 in LA yesterday. Their path of destruction has brought them everywhere from Washington DC to Detroit to Chicago. It's quite a first movie experience for gorgeous leggy Rosie, though she'll be transitioning back into model mode tomorrow when she joins the rest of the Angels at the big annual Victoria's Secret fashion show in NYC. We'll be there, so stay tuned and check out our sneak peek at Adriana Lima's jaw-dropping opening look and interview about sneaking candy into her diet. The VS girls are easy on the eyes, to say the least, and Rosie's costar Shia showed off his own impressive physique during a shirtless moment on set recently. Shia had an evening off last week and was spotted backstage at a Drake concert amid news the actor will be hopping into the director's chair to make a short film with good friend rapper Cage and Kid Cudi.

Shirtless Shia Gets Lots of Action on the Transformers Set

Things got intense on the set of Transformers: The Dark of the Moon in LA yesterday when Shia LaBeouf was momentarily shirtless as he changed in order to shoot in front of a green screen.

Things got intense on the set of Transformers: The Dark of the Moon in LA yesterday when Shia LaBeouf was momentarily shirtless as he changed in order to shoot in front of a green screen. Shia's costar Patrick Dempsey was also on hand to film, though last night he was on the small screen for a special documentary-style episode of Grey's Anatomy. Shia's spending his downtime doing his thing solo since his split from Carey Mulligan, who seems to be rebounding nicely with her fellow Brit Tom Sturridge.

Sexy Shia LaBeouf Looks Red Hot Relaxing in the Capital

Shia LaBeouf changed out of his work clothes, kicked back with a book, and sipped on a drink outside an Illy coffee shop in Washington DC yesterday after a day of shooting Transformers 3 in his familiar yellow Camaro, alien Autobot Bumblebee. Production moved to the capital earlier this week, though filming was halted for a few hours on Monday when one of the stunt cars collided with a police vehicle. He could be brushing up on politics while spending time in the city as he's rumored to be interested in portraying a young Karl Rove in an upcoming drama.
