But, I'm definitely one to be up for an adventure. I have my tickets. We booked like an RV, which we're gonna do this year. So Vanessa, what originally attracted you to this role? My dad was the one who texted me and he told me they were doing a remake of the movie, and he was a big fan of the movie back in the day. So he was really excited about it. pretty courageous, she's adventurous, she's kind of a bad ass. So do you really relate with her? Yeah, I mean, like, in in the beginning she, I feel is a bit closed minded than she is at the end of the movie. But I'm definitely one to be up for adventure. And so, If you happen to get yourself trapped on a deserted island. What one thing would you have to take with you? My Ipod, I'd go crazy without music. So talking about music then, so Dwayne sings in the film Did you give him any pointers? Did you give him any voice notes? No. He was pretty good on his own. I mean, he killed it and he has a beautiful voice, which I was not expecting from such a big guy. So did he try out the pec pop of love on you at all? No, he doesn't walk around, he doesn't flaunt that. But, yeah, I mean it's very impressive. This role was also physically demanding, I imagine. What did you do to get in shape and how do you continually stay in shape? I love like doing group classes. I love working out with my friends. I love being outside, so hiking or paddle boarding or anything. It's just fun to stay in shape I think. Coming up this spring we have Coachella and I know you love music and you're always there and your fashion is so on point and it's become one of those festivals that we look to for music as much as fashion. So how do you pack? How do you get ready, and is it comfort or is it fun? It's a lot of planning. It's like, I feel like I really get to wear what I want to. making a headdress, it's just fun. You get to think outside of the box and fully commit to a bit of craziness. Do you have your tickets? And so you're ready for this year? Oh yeah. I have my tickets, we booked like an RV, which we're gonna do this year, red bikes for the festival every day, and it's fun. It's my favorite. back.
