The Academy Awards are later today, and the show is just the beginning of the fun. Stars love to keep the celebration going at Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party hosted by the magazine's editor, Graydon Carter. The annual bash draws big names like Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kristen Stewart, Victoria Beckham, and more, and this year's event promises to be just as star-studded.

Shailene Woodley hosted the 20th anniversary party for Vanity Fair's "Vanities" in Hollywood last night, attended by stylish celebs such as beautiful mother-to-be Paula Patton, Stacy Keibler, and Rashida Jones. Shailene wore a simple and sleek Bird by Juicy Couture jumpsuit, Emmy Rossum showed off a sky-blue one-shoulder gown, while Malin Akerman opted for a modern printed long-sleeve dress paired with sexy strappy sandals. Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jessica Chastain have the honor of being on the very front cover of March 2012's Vanity Fair. It's the publication's "Fresh Young Stars of 2012" issue, featuring 11 up-and-coming actresses. Inside the cover fold, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling are also featured. The last 12 months have been big for each of the ladies, in particular Rooney, Mia, Jennifer, and Jessica. Rooney just scored an Oscar nomination for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, as did Jessica for The Help. Mia's Albert Nobbs got a great deal of award season love, and Jennifer is looking forward to the release of her huge series The Hunger Games. The actresses opened up for the magazine about their careers, childhood crushes, and more. They said:

• Jessica on her superstar crush: "Ralph Fiennes. The English Patient. Of course. Those love scenes!"
• Jennifer on who else she'd like to work with: "I'd love to work with the Coen brothers. Tommy Lee Jones. Jack Nicholson. And I'd love to work with Renée Zellweger. I'm a huge Renée Zellweger fan."
• Rooney on her crush growing up: "Thom Yorke."
• Jennifer on her childhood crush: "When I was little, like '90s era, I had such a big crush on Justin Timberlake from *NSYNC that I almost threw up."
• Mia on someone she'd like to work with: "I just saw We Need to Talk About Kevin, and I'm a huge fan of
  Tilda Swinton, and I'm hopefully going to work with her next year. She's one of my favorites. And that movie was probably one of my favorites of the year."

The good-looking trio of Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Daniel Craig got together to shoot the amazing February 2012 cover of Vanity Fair. The guys looked hot and rugged as they struck a pose for Annie Leibovitz, and inside the magazine, each showed their characteristic humor by filling out VF's "Proust Questionnaire." Matt was earnest and spoke about how his role models are his parents. The We Bought a Zoo star also said he's happiest when hanging out with his four kids and that his marriage is his greatest achievement! The Descendants actor George, meanwhile, was a bit sillier when he admitted that he'd like to come back in his next life as his dog, since the pup "lives better." Daniel, whose amazing physique is on display in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, admitted his least favorite body part is his knees. The issue will be on newsstands in the US on Jan. 10.

Scarlett Johansson is on the cover of December's Vanity Fair and, inside, addresses her nude photo scandal once again. She was also on CNN in September to speak about how she believes that actors are entitled to their own personal privacy, but seemed happy to divulge some personal information to the magazine regardless. We Bought a Zoo star Scarlett spoke about the artistry behind her shots as well as how they were intended for the eyes of her then-husband Ryan Reynolds only. She also touched on how hard it was to go through their public split right after she wrapped up a Tony-winning Broadway run in A View From the Bridge. Scarlett said:

• On the poses: "I know my best angles."
• On the intended recipient: "They were sent to my husband. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno. Although there’s nothing wrong with that either."
• On the tough time after her divorce and wrapping up a run in A View From the Bridge: "I didn’t really know what to do with myself. It was such a strange time. There was nothing that was interesting to me. I had a very public separation. It was difficult. I felt very uncomfortable."

Johnny Depp struck a hot pose for the cover of November 2011's Vanity Fair, which will be on newsstands Oct. 8. He's chatting up his upcoming movie The Rum Diary ahead of its release this month on Oct. 28. Johnny, though, had more to say about his career and why he chooses to do certain projects. Additionally, some controversy was stirred up when Johnny compared photo shoots to rape. Johnny told the magazine:

• On working as much as he can right now: "Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it. I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No. No. It’s for the kids."
• On making money during his early days in Hollywood by attending Scientology study groups for $3: "I went to a bunch, man. It was so great, it was so fantastic."
• On the lack of support for 2004's The Libertine from Harvey Weinstein: "Harvey killed a great film."
• On photo shoots: "You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing. It feels like a kind of weird — just weird, man. . . . Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like — you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid."

Angelina Jolie covers October 2011's Vanity Fair, which will be on newsstands nationwide on Sept. 6. Inside the magazine, Angelina posed for photos with daughters Vivienne and Zahara and spoke about her upcoming directorial and screenwriting debut In the Land of Blood and Honey. She revealed how she came to write and direct the picture and that Brad was helpful with constructive criticism. Angelina also touched on her family, saying she and Brad aren't expanding the Jolie-Pitt clan anytime soon. She said:

• On rumors about her family: "I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment."
• On Brad's thoughts for her postdirecting future: “Brad thinks I’m going to be a nightmare. . . . I had such a good experience he thinks I’m going to be impatient with directors, which I already am. I get impatient with people working on a film that have their head in their hands like it’s the most complicated thing in the world.”
• On how she came to write the script: “I had the flu. I had to be quarantined from the children for two days. I was in the attic of a house in France. I was isolated, pacing. I don’t watch TV and I wasn’t reading anything. So I started writing. I went from the beginning to the end. I didn’t know any other way. [She says she then let Brad take the script to read on a trip] He called and said, ‘You know, honey, it’s not that bad.’”
• On Brad's constructive criticism: “He’d come in and say what he liked or what he didn’t understand. Like any woman, I would listen to most of it and fight a few things. He’s been so supportive. But it’s hard to separate the person that loves you from the critic, so I don’t think he’s a fair judge.”
