David turned 38 yesterday, although the celebrations might have suffered a slight damper since it was announced that he was assigned a one-game suspension due to his late red card in Paris Saint-Germain's win at Evian on Sunday. David can seek solace in his girls since the disciplinary action means he will miss this weekend's title-deciding game against Valenciennes at home in Paris. David wasn't the only one in the family who got bad news this week, since Victoria also announced that the Spice Girls musical, Viva Forever!, would be closing early.

It was confirmed today that Viva Forever! will close early in June, despite the best promotional efforts of Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. Due to poor ticket sales and worse reviews, backers of the production say they could not make the financials work. In a statement the Girls expressed their own thoughts, saying, "Although Viva Forever won't continue in the West End, we are thrilled that the thousands of people who came to the show had as much fun as we did."

She shared a number of behind-the-scenes peeks at herself on set with photographer Boo George and her hair and makeup crew. Victoria was free from posing long enough to send messages to her almost six million Twitter followers, including "Happy Tuesday fashion bunnies!" and "Great shoot! Super excited." She had kind words for her hair team too. Stylist Tina Outen, apparently inspired by a photo of Christy Turlington on the beach, helped give Victoria what looks like a new short cut. Victoria liked the change-up, writing, "Loving the hair!"

Her day before the lens allowed her husband David to spend time one-on-one with their daughter Harper. David and a very smiley Harper went out in London today during a break from his time in Paris with the city's Paris St-Germain soccer team. Victoria was also a working mom over the weekend when she attended the British Vogue Festival Sunday and revealed her plans to establish her first Victoria Beckham Collection store in London.
