Angelina Jolie speaks out in a new PSA about Pakistan's recent flood disaster. As part of her role as goodwill ambassador for the UNHCR, Angelina says, "This is not just a humanitarian crisis. It is an economic and social catastrophe." Watch her plea for aid below.

Least favorite thing about celebrities is that they pick and choose which catastrophe to give attention too. Pakistani or not, Muslim or not, these people are human beings that deserve or help and sympathy the same was Haiti did after the earthquake. I completely respect Angelina Jolie more because she is willing to bring notice to what has mostly been a small blip on the news.

yes this is what they need to do is tell people exactly what to do to help. Too often her and Brad and George Clooney and many celebrities just take their photographers with them and stage photo ops of them giving to charity. I always said, that doesn't change much but get you a photo op. Tell people what to do to help. PSA's work better.

i am a Pakistani and i know how much my people are suffering ..and it will probably take a hell lot of time to get over the destruction this flood has done..and i would like to thank people like angelina jolie for creating the awareness..that means a lot to those people who have lost their family members,home and everything...
