They do. My sister is a non celebrity attractive black american girl who happened to be stationed over there, and for three years she was treated like a celebrity because she was an attractive black girl. The japanese like anything attention grabbing, whether it be a too revealing black dress, a celebrity, or a pretty black american girl. They really admire blacks and white women. In their fashion magazines more than half of the models are black or white, not japanese. Just sayin'.....
