#16.. no they were not confidfent in their marriage. Jen was in long term therapy with trust issues from her parents divorce, Brad suddenly 2 years in said he didn't think marriage to one person forever was doable and Jen was questioning whether he was the love of her life or not. The marriage was dead with or without Mr&Mrs Smith or Jolie. The spent little time together and had less and less in common. By the time of the divorce Brad basically said life was too short to waste being in a marriage that wasn't the be all end all. So no.. they were not confident in their marriage. It wasn't meant to be.

You people sound childish. Vanessa is confident in her relationship with Depp. She even said they purposely explore things apart and trust each other implicitly. Brad and Angelina are confident in their relationship. They can find their costars charming and sexy and perfect and not fall in love or cheat. In fact I hope they do Shakespeare together. It would be amazing to see them paired up together.
