Julia Roberts Tells Oprah She "Worships" Her Husband — Adorable or Too Much?

Julia Roberts sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an interview that aired today about her upcoming film Eat, Pray, Love. The ladies touched on Julia's kids, her leading men James Franco and Javier Bardem, and even her real-life love Danny Moder. Julia's no stranger to gushing about him, and she told Oprah, "I sort of worship my husband. . . He takes my breath away." Their spark is clearly still alive, but we can't help wondering if Julia isn't laying it on a little too thick. So, tell us what you think of Julia's comment — is it adorable or too much?

Pity she didn't care if his first wife worshipped him, she wanted him and took him. The public humiliation of his first wife completely ruined all credibility, not that she had much for me to begin with. She's over-rated, under-talented, and a piece of slime.

Poor lady probably meant to say she loves her husband very very much but ended up sounding like a nutty wife. While I'm not wishing this on her at all, Julia should take note from Sandra, don't overly express love for your partner because if he ends up being a cheating dick, you stand to look foolish.

I see pics of her and her husband around and she doesn't seem happy. He rarely supports her at events. What's that about. He married someone famous. SHe also gushes about george clonney in public which is also strange.

I used to love Julia in all of her movies,especially Pretty Woman and Flatliners,but now, all I can think of when I see her is how she stole another woman's husband and it disgusts me to no end...I cannot get past that,so she has lost all of my admiration.You just DON'T DO THAT!!Bottom line,she's a ho!

Full of grace, you are proving the point. You only mention men and Angelina, who gets kicked just because. People rarely bring up Julia cheating, they just see her on Oprah and eveyone just goes AWWW. Same for J Lopez, J Garner and others. Yes, those men all cheated and they get the same free pass as Roberts--great marriage stuff, but the public always seem to forget the first spouse who got kicked to the curb. But again, most women get a free pass and as you state, some men too.

Uh, I am just curious as to why the world has such a short memory when it comes to Julia Roberts? She essentially broke up the first marriage of this husband that she "worships" and during this whatever-Julia-wants-Julia-gets campaign, wore a homemade t-shirt upon which she used the ex-wife's name to spell the message "A Low Vera, " as in, of course, aloe vera. Why does this stuff not factor into the level of WORSHIP that this woman recieves?

This is going to blow up in her face. To worship a fallible human being is also pathetic and will inevitably lead to a let down.

She really must worship him because in almost every interview where he is mentioned, she gushes about him profusely in this way. It's nice that she has someone to love, but I find it a little over the top to worship someone mainly because it sets up unrealistic expectations for the long term. Who can ever live up to being worshipped forever? Loved and cherished, surely. Worshipped, adored, perfect these are not realistic and most guys I know would sort of squirm at the pressure of being expected to be a saintly figure in their partner's eyes. I dunno, her OTT adulation seems a little lacking in genuineness.

Why doesn't anyone ever mention the fact that Tom Hanks cheated on his wife with Rita Wilson? Or that Russell Crowe had an affair with Meg Ryan while she was still married to someone else? The women are not given the free pass, their mistakes are thrown in their face constantly, look how often it is brought up with people like Julia or Angelina. However, I haven't once heard anyone call George Clooney out on cheating on his first wife or the various other men that have done it.
