Just a stupid idea in the first place.
i personally can't stand Katy perry and her stupid pop songs. they are the cheesiest songs ever. i do think if your going to do a kid's show you should definitely cover up more. that just shows how dumb she is because that should be common sense seriously you don' t need to show 3" of cleavage on a kid's show

yeah i was wondering why sesame street wanted katy perry in teh first place...i mean her songs are certainly more aimed for the young adult (and higher) listeners. I'm a Katy Perry fan and I like her work but do you realllllly want to explain to your kids THAT early on why women kiss other woman and like it? :P

Sesame Street must really need the money to sink low enough to invite her on. I think they intended to pull it and just use the negative press to get them back out there. It's disgusting. There's nothing about her persona/music'?'/or anything that says 'speak to children'. As a veteran mom of 3 I would have just turned the channel from that crap anyway. Children deserve better. Perry has plenty of teenage minds to corrupt.

It is ridiculous that they banned this from Sesame Street !!! Seriously the target market for this program will not be checking out Katy Perry covered bosom. They will be focused on Elmo and the background, they probably don't know who Katy Perry is. There was nothing inappropriate about this video and wasn't someone from Sesame Street on set when it was filmed.
