Do You Think K-Fed Should Get Paid to Watch SP and JJ?

Britney Spears was in London last night to kick off the European leg of her world tour. She was able to have Sean Preston and Jayden James come along, and she even shared these videos of them dancing at a rehearsal. While she's overseas, Kevin Federline is coming to accompany their sons and apparently he's being paid around $30,000 for June, in addition to his rumored $20,000 a month in child support. It seems like an awful lot of money, so tell us — do you think K-Fed should get paid extra to watch his sons?

OMG! He is such a pig.He gets $20,000, a month and wants another $30,000, thats more than some people make in a year. I wonder if he even loved Brit or just saw $$. He should be ashamed of himself those are his kids, he's not the nanny,I wonder what he/she gets paid.I can understand her wanting her kids there,but he shouldn't get paid anymore than he's entitled to, I know Brit has had her problems,but who hasn't, at least she's trying to get back on track. I don't follow the story much, but is Kevin paying child support to Shar Jackson for his other children,why doesn't he get a job, I hear Mcdonalds is always hiring.Talk about a dead beat dad.He gets to go places that most of us only get to see in magazines. All I can say is she really loves those kids, to put up with that. Brit is amazing he would be scrubbing my toilets and whatever else I could find.

Why should he be paid to watch his own children? What about Kevin's other children? Why can't he be with them? Guess they aren't his meal ticket! Why doesn't he work? A lot of questions. Happy that Britney is getting her life back together.

Britney..I will watch them for free..they are so cute and adorable I will have a blast with them. I love just watching them play...they remind me of my son.

Heck no...Why should he..he is the father how can someone get paid for taking care of his own children!!!!!!!!that's just awful. Plus he already gets child support. That's just being greedy!!!!

I think she should pay traveling expenses, but considering he doesn't have a job and isn't away from anything I don't think she should have to pay 30k a month + child support to watch his own kids. High priced baby sitter.

Quills (post #22) summed it up perfectly, IMO. But I guarantee that Britt already pays for all food/accommodation/entertainment AND a full time nanny!!I do think its admirable that Kevin is actually allowing her to take the boys on tour. I think it shows that he knows how important they are to her and he's being flexible. Most ex's probably wouldn't do that. But I also think he is taking advantage of the situation b/c he knows she'd probably do/pay anything to have the boys around her.

i agree with dollylo, its ridiculous that he is made out to be the good guy if this is true when he's taking money to look after his OWN children, i that case when i have a child i want to be paid weekly for the sake that i am a good enough person for taking the time to look after them.....um sarcasm..... plus so sweet to watch these two, v sweet and so funny that the older one is copying the younger ones moves hehe.

If roles where reversed, everyone would be telling Britney to get all she can "for her kids"; the standards shouldn't be any different because the custodial parent happens to be the father. Also, as much as people like to forget, Britney lost the custody of her children due to her own actions. If she wants to see her children at the other side of the world, she should pay Kevin for the inconvenience of traveling along. Actually, that sounds about right...he is not being paid to watch his kids, he is being paid for the inconvenience of uprooting them just so that she can see them.

Kevin has been there for those boys when Britney had her breakdown. He has also been there for his children with Shar too. When Britney wouldn't see her parents, Kevin allowed the Mr and Mrs Spears to have contact with their grandchildren. He may not be your cup of tea, but he has been the more responsible parent in this situation. He didn't pull a Denise Richards and make any claims against Britney or appear in any "reality" show exploiting his children. Money is nothing to Britney, until her dad took over her finances, she threw away more money then what Kevin will ever receive from her. People are only mad because it is Kevin and they don't like him. Say what you will about him, but his children have benefited from his parenting when their mother couldn't be there for them. Hopefully Britney will get her life together, in the mean time Kevin is there instead of just Nannies.

No one should be paid to watch their own kids, no matter who you are. Child support I understand but going to Europe for free and then getting paid to watch your kids? No way.

People - if the roles were reversed you can bet money would be exchanged. AND it would be socially acceptable. Society doesn't want to acknowledge fathers as being the better parent or holding the mothers fiscally responsible.

What other ex-spouse/partner would give up their steady income to follow their ex around the world and look after their children while the other parent works? Not a lot. Most folks wouldn't be able to afford to.That was my logical reply.Now, because we are talking about Kevin specifically - he would leave any employer, if he had one, without a moment's notice so he could catch a free ride on tour with his famous and very wealthy ex. He has made it clear he would rather be taken care of....for life, by his ex-wife, than find a job and turn it into a career where he would be able to provide for his family.At the end of the day - this whole situation is cracked.

No. He is their Father. Parents are not paid to look after their children.I HATE when a man will say he can't do something because he is "babysitting". You don't babysit your own children! You care for them.
