Nobody likes to be ridiculed. But: people joke about everything. You name it - there are dumb jokes about it out there. By being so sensitive, the gay community is doing itself a disservice. When people have to walk on eggshelfs around someone, they often choose to distance themselves from them. You can't be treated like everyone else, and yet be treated differently.
