What Is Cameron Diaz's The Body Book About?

Cameron Diaz Is Superunfiltered These Days

Considering Cameron Diaz's new lifestyle tome is titled The Body Book, it's to be expected that she'll talk about her body. However, no one knew she would be quite so bold. In her book, she discusses her appreciation for pubic hair — which "serves as a pretty draping that makes it a little mysterious to the one who might be courting your sexiness . . . . It would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is" — and on her press tour, she's been just as unfiltered. "I used to have really bad skin, and that was absolutely due to the food that I was ingesting," she told People of the years up to her 30s. "I lived on processed fast food. I drank a ton of soda, and I ate greasy, fatty, cheesy foods consistently." Basically, she's just like a normal person who used to overindulge and wasn't happy with her skin.

Cameron's book is real-talk, not advice. Though cutting out dairy did help change her skin, she's not giving a go-to guide to how to look or feel like her. It's about appreciating your body and some tips to give yourself a boost of self-confidence. As seen in these photos from her recent book signing in Huntington, NY, she loves herself with minimal makeup, going with her mantra to love the skin you're in, acne prone or not. It also doesn't hurt that she's opened herself up to fans, regramming photos from meet-and-greets and even reposting fun pics people share with her about the book. Cameron, we're meeting a whole new you, and we love her even more.
