While Jake's Away, Reese and Atticus Play

Reese Witherspoon had an armful of coffee walking around LA on Thursday with a German shepherd. Of course, that's not just any dog — Reese was babysitting Jake's furry buddy, Atticus while he's off in South Carolina shooting Nailed. Even without her frenchie Coco along for the walk, Reese looks like she's struggling a little to carry all of that stuff. We love that the busy mother of two still has time to pet sit.

That was what I was thinking sicily. Reese doesn't need publicity. She's a high profile, well respected actress. I think if she really wanted to make a show of her relationship, she and Jake would do red carpets together, like the Oscars or even her own Penelope premiere. But they haven't. Nor do they discuss their relationship, they have kept it private.

Honestly, she's plastered everywhere no matter if Jake is in town or not. She's quite the stalked celebrity. I'm also wondering why it'd be good PR to be walking a dog only diehard fans would recognise as Jake's. What benefits come from this? If you want good PR, you'd make sure you were photographed wearing a t-shirt supporting a charity or something. I think some people are grasping and pretty much agree with Ginger and the like. Ginger, if you don't mind me asking, what do your friends in the industry do?

If it were for PR, you'd think she would fix her hair and dress a little nicer. One of the reasons people dogsit is so the dog can get taken out for a walk. It's nice that she is willing to do that. Some of my friends in the film industry just hire a dog walker to come to their house a couple of times a day, whether they are home or not. That's somewhat how they treat their kids as well. Reese is more hands on.

This is another one of Reese's publicity stunts. Since Jake has left town to film his new movies, she has been plastered everywhere on the internet, like everyday since he's been gone. Don't tell me she didn't set these sessions up.

Love that dog. I'm used to seeing shepherds around here in their police mode, and it's nice to see one that isn't always walking/running/barking with his butt down in attack mode. :dog:

Keep your camera out coke! LOL Every time they shoot a movie in Portland OR I try to go to where they're filming in the hopes of catching a glimpse of a star, but so far no luck. One of these days though!!!!!!!!!! Charlize Theron was here not too long ago!
