Who Do You Think Was the Worst Dressed of Oscars Night?

There was lots to admire on the red carpet at last night's Oscars, but as always there were a few gowns that failed to impress. Whether there were too many details or too little fabric, we've narrowed things down to five. Rachel McAdams in her Elie Saab gown is currently your favorite of the evening, but tell us what you think — who was the worst dressed of Oscars night?

I think most of the dresses in this year's Oscars were hideous. Even classic beauties like Diane and Penelope somewhat disappointed, and it says a lot that Rachel McAdams wins best dressed - her printed strapless dress something she could have worn to a summer party by the sea. Good-looking, summery and cute, but not really a gown worthy of the Oscars. Of the above, they all look pretty bad but I think there were loads of others to choose from for worst dressed.

I love SJP's dress, the back was so pretty! Why is it even on this list? And Heidi's dress was cute, even thought it wasn't super formal. I think there were much worse dressed that some of the ones on this list..

Sorry, but Hillary looks amazing in that dress and, as stated above, she didn't wear it to the Oscars (which would have been too much) she wore it to the Vanity Fair AFTER PARTY and was spot on. Hot, hot, hot. I didn't quite "get" SJPs dress, but I don't think it's ugly. Vera's was completely overwhelming and Charlize's was not just questionable, but distracting. Loved the color, though.

Um, that Vera chick's dress was hideous...she's SJP 10 yrs ago in the face....and Hilary Swank looked amazing and hot so whoever thought that she needed to be on this list has no style - yep, I said it

SJP. I dont understand how she is a fashion icon when she gets her outfits wrong time after time. At least Charlize had great hair and makeup. SJP's hair was horrible

I agree with not mixing the real award ceremony event pics and the after party ones.. Anw, Hillary Swank was abit OTT on the cleavage department and the rest of gowns are called couture.. but i must admit they're not that flattering .. roseboobs will prolly be in soon because of charlize and u can only wear those searuffles thing on Oscar plus chanel on SJP is pretty edgy.

there were ladys far worst dressed then SJP like - mariah carey she looked like a milkmaid and rachel mcadams looked like a meirmaid. c. diaz did look very classy in her gold dress i also liked z. saldana. i never get the hype about k. winslet she always has the same dress on - only in a different colour ; )

Vera and Charlize looked the worse. And you can't really judge Heidi or Hilary's dress because it was the afterparty and i think it was appropriate for the occasion.

sarah jessica's had no figure that just made her look big (which we all know she isnt) and i really didnt think hilary swank looked that bad!

I voted for Vera in the poll, but know that I think about it I'd say Hilary is the worst dressed. She is showing way too much skin for such a prestigious event. Please cover up.

Not blind and not kidding...in my OPINION she looked 70. I've seen many photos of her and she's looked fine, but last night the dress came off as very matronly...the hair was somewhat messy...the make-up unexciting. I just don't think the look did her justice!

Before I looked closely I thought Hillary Swank was Raquel Welch in Myra Breckenridge. For those of you too young to remember, that was a movie where Raquel played a trannie.

Personally, I thought Charlize looked worst. Her gown is borderline raunchy. To me, it looks like there are hands (from behind) that are cupping her breasts. Vulgar.Sarah is a close second. Everything about her appearance is unflattering. The color is off, the hair and make-up is wrong. Up close, she looks tired and haggard. Sarah has looked MUCH better in the past. JMHO.

can it be a five way tie? i clicked on Charlize Theron before getting a good look at whatever it is Hilary Swank is wearing. My my my what were these women thinking?
