Who Gets A Star in 2007?

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce board of directors has decided who will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. 23 stars have been announced and the list is:

Michael Caine, Matt Damon, Lauren Shuler Donner, Jamie Foxx, John Goodman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert Altman, Erik Estrada, Barbara Walters, Kiefer Sutherland, Jerry Stiller, Dick Wolf, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Mariah Carey, The Doors, Crystal Gayle, Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Tim Rice, Rodney Bingenheimer, Lily Tomlin and Stu Nahan.

Who knew Babs, Matt Damon and Mariah would ever end up on the same list together? Big month for Matty who just welcomed a baby girl as well. We look forward to seeing pictures of him on the set of Oceans 13 next month.

haha...my sister's boyfriend looks EXACTLY like a young erik estrada...so i love that he got a star. i always tell her that her kids are gonna look like mark consuelos and kelly ripa's.

ewww Mariah GOD NO...she has a good voice but nothing that deserves a star...there are many other celebs who should get one over her...Sometimes I wish she would just disappear!!!!

JKBoogie, I think you have to be of a certain age to really know Jerry Stiller outside of "Seinfeld" and "King of Queens". I think I straddle that age line, unfortunately.

Jamie...I had to look Jerry up on imdb and I only recognised Seinfield and Zoolander on is resume. Then there is Ben Stiller...Zoolander...Along Came Polly...Meet the Parents...his Mission Impossible 2 sketch....need I go on???? this guy is a legend.

Diddy doesn't deserve a star. No how, no way. Jamie Foxx? Too new on the scene - got lucky with "Yay", jury's still out on the staying power. Michael Caine and Lily Tomlin should have had stars YEARS ago.

My opinion Mariah Carey .... it's about time...I mean how many records does this chick have to break before she gets a star? Sir Michael Caine...thought he would have had one already. Matt Damon... sorry not convinced. Jamie Foxx...WAAAAYYYY to early in this asendancy to be considered surely? Diddy...for what??? a few catchy tunes and a dodgy clothing line that only lowlives wear? surely not. This is worst than Destiny's child getting one....and that was bad..the only good thing about that is that it rained when they got their award. Michelle Pfiffer...I am shocked that she does not have one already....come on even Britney has one. Jerry Stiller...what about Ben Stiller?????

really - how many stars can they put on this walk of fame and not leave the state of california? they've taken what should be an honor and acknowledgement for a body of work and made it an unimportant pr move.

Shouldn't there be a standard, i mean Monroe and Bette Davis and Astaire have them - it kind of devalues theres if they are being given to Ryan Seacrest for goodness sake. I mean, for phuc's sake, give me one if they are so common.
