Who is your favorite pin-up or 1950's/1960's fashion icon?

Audrey HepburnAudrey HepburnBrigitte BardotBrigitte BardotDoris DayDoris DayGrace KellyGrace KellyMarilyn MonroeMarilyn MonroeMarlene DietrichMarlene DietrichBetty GrableBetty GrableI know this is a Marilyn group but I'd like to start off with a little friendly competition. I would like to see who our favorite icon is from the earlier decades of the 20th century. Let's just see who has stood the test of time, although many of them certainly have or we wouldn't be babbling about them today. Remember, if I don't happen to list one that you like, tell me who it is and why she's your favorite va-va voom girl. Vote away guys and dolls!

Toss up between Marilyn and Audrey. I (obviously) had to vote for Marilyn though.

Audrey and Grace weren't pinups, that's true. They were just exceedingly classy and beautiful women. As much as I love Bettie, she was nowhere near as famous as Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn. Bettie was a fetish artist.

Audrey all the way. She had that innocence, class and je ne sais quoi. Totally alluring Love: 1 Corinthians 13

Audrey Hepburn. She's so classy and beautiful in this simple way. I LOVE it. Her eyes are mesmerizing!

I don't really think I could exclusively idolize a pin-up just because I don't know much about them ;). Unless they are as famous as Bette Paige! That would be a fun about bette.

Betty Paige is a pin-up, hmmm, I think she's great too. I was kind of going for fashion icon too.

I had to go with Betty. She embodies the whole idea of what a pin-up is! Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn could never be considered pin-ups!

Audrey will always be THE style icon but Grace Kelly was also the picture of loveliness. But I love my Audrey.

I had to chose Grace Kelly.. she was the embodiment of elegance, style and flawless beauty. She captures a lost time/tradition. And she went from making movies/kissing Cary Grant to being a real life princess.. what a life!
