Whose Oscar Gown Are You Most Excited to See Tonight?

We're broadcasting live from the 2011 Oscars red carpet tonight, and we can't wait to see what attendees and nominees wear to the show! So many of those expected at the Academy Awards have wowed in the past, from Anne Hathaway's 2009 Armani Privé gown to Sandra Bullock's 2010 Marchesa and Gwyneth Paltrow's 1999 Calvin Klein. Natalie Portman wowed in Rodarte two years ago when Reese Witherspoon was a knockout in Nina Ricci, and Halle Berry accepted 2002's best actress statue in an elegant Elie Saab. So, tell us — whose gown are you excited to see later today?

Halle Berry is the first on my list. She takes risk in fashion and isn't afraid to try a new thing. So I'm very excited to see what she is going to wear tonight. Ann Hathaway is a host this year. I understand some people don't have high expectations in her and James Franco. But they are young and a fresh air. To be honest, I'm curious to see them tonight. Natalie is pregnant so anything she wears is all nice. Go easy on mama-to-be. I know she is going to win and I wish her the best. But in my opinion, I think Ann Bennet (did I say it right) is deserved to win. No thought on Sandra or Gwyneth. I don't know why popsugar chose Reese's dress as one of the memory dress because she looked so old and ugly in that dress. Her hair looked like a granny style. So I'm not going to waste my time on Reese.

With the fiasco Halle wore to the SAG awards, i'm really looking forward to seeing her redeem herself.

I can't wait to see what Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman wears! Out of the above ones though I'd say only Gwyneth's and Halle's are iconic, simply because they both won Oscars in them making them memorable (but still not pretty)

Paltrow dress is not iconic its really ugly and only show off the fact the she has no boobs.

I agree, I'd like to see them take some chances. Penelope Cruz, in my opinion, takes some risks and always looks flawless.

With the exception of Berry and Paltrow, none of the gowns presented above were "iconic." Granted, they're all very pretty, but hardly memorable, nor are Witherspoon and Bullock known for their sartorial choices. Hathaway always looks the same. If anything, Michelle Williams has shown more innovative and interesting fashion sense. Portman doesn't always make the right choices, but at least she isn't boring.

Natalie Portman, really? I hope she doesn't win because I can't stand another speech from her.
