Shia LaBeouf picked up food at an LA grocery store yesterday afternoon, looking rather calm before his girlfriend Carey Mulligan's exciting coming weekend. She's nominated for her very first Oscar due to her work in An Education, and so far she's made the red carpet rounds solo this award season. We're holding out hope for one side-by-side appearance from the adorable PDA-loving couple, but Shia may not want to steal Carey's big moment. So, tell us what you think — would you like to see Shia go to the Academy Awards with Carey?

he might say something outrageous and ruin her moment? no...i cannot see him doing that. but i understand you had to have a no answer for the quiz. i think they should go together. while they may break up(or maybe not!) so what if he's in the pictures. this is a moment in both their lives and they are together now. celebrate. i would love to see them both on the red carpet, for her support. can you imagine how nerve racking it much be to walk the red carpet? and how much easier it would be to have a friend by your side. i don't think it's for us to say.

i'm not at all a fan of his but i think that it would be nice for him to be there for carey. i think that sometimes people are too into not going to events together and i think that it's ok sometimes

I dont want them to go together - not because I dont like him (love him!) but because its her moment, and they are young, and if they break up her moment will be archived with him in all the pics. CAREY for best actress!!!!
