Will You Be Buying Britney's Blackout Today?

Well, today's the day. Britney's long anticipated new album Blackout has hit stores. In her personal life, things are looking up (deja vu) — she met with Kevin for a counseling session yesterday and the judge's custody ruling is expected as early as today. But for the moment, it's all about her career. To celebrate, Bella is giving away 10 bottles of her believe.

We've heard previews of most of the tracks, and I must admit that a couple of them are catchy ("Piece of Me" especially). That being said, it's increasingly hard to separate her music from, well, her life. So, let me know, will you be buying Blackout today?

i bought one right away!! i love all the songs especially gimme more, piece of me, break the ice, ooh ooh baby and why should i be sad! i wonder why the song State of Grace isnt in her album... i love that song too!

PP RAW #1- The problem with you and this music is that you don't really listen to it. If you put headphones on and listened to the production, you would see that it IS top notch. I don't have low standards- I like dance music! #2- Yea, saying "F*** her" really is unnecessary. You say I act like I have an attatchment to her? So do you by saying junk like that about her when you don't even know her! At least I realize that she is a human being and have a bit of compassion.

i am just tired of people even talking about her in general. what good has come out of her? what has she contributed? has she ever done something that is completely unselfish? do you know how tough it is to make money in the music business? seriously, do you know? there are no "overnight sensations." it is all marketing. especially in this day and age. unfortuanately, success doesn't occur due to a bands talent alone. it's just gimmicks. image, inter-band fueds, scandals, celeb sightings with musicians. even if the band is not finely polished pop music, there is some sort of branding, marketing plan behind them. even radio new metal bands have a gimmick, a selling point. operative word here is "selling..." it is all about money spent, and the money that is (hopefully) made back. that is why downloading is such an issue. it takes away from albums sales, thus skewing units sold and the incoming sum.artists put in a lot of work hoping to make good records. record labels front the money hoping that the band will make a good record...so that it brings in the big money. fine, ok, it's straight up business. however, labels don't like to take chances on bands if they don't think they can manipulate some sort of marketing scheme from either their image, attitude, etc.bands have to work hard sometimes to make their name in the world. and they are very talented a lot of times, and that talent goes unnoticed for the most part, due to the attention being on less deserving, selfish, psycho, white trash, unintelligent, aloof, washed up, untalented, waste of skin people like Britney Spears. if you are one of the people that say that you like her music, you should revise your statement to actually say that you like the music that the various producers, actual song writers, studio musicians, back-up singers, collaborators and engineers have created for her. just because she comes into the studio and does X amount of takes so that the producer can splice together a a full usable vocal track, doesn't mean in any capacity that she is an "artist" or even much of a musician...the fact that she has back-up dancers, back-up singers, props, pyro, scenery, etc in her live shows, doesn't mean that she is even much of an entertainer...really all it means is that there are multiple diversions for you to watch to take your eyes off of the trainwreck "performance" that Britney is trying to do. she also doesn't sing live, so, that's one less thing that she does. she isn't touring to promote this record, so really what does she do? really? you think that she really deserves your money? really? what are you getting in return? seriously. her vocals on this album (not that she has a great voice to begin with) sound like she recorded them while reclining in a La-Z-BOY recliner. i would really like someone to make a good point as to why anyone would waste their money on any of her music. seriously, if you make a good point and convince me, then i will buy a copy of this crappy record.

Anyone who doesn't like at least one of the songs is just plain boring."At least the acoustic melodramatic indie artists write and perform their own music... they don't need writers, professional producers, lipsynching software, skimpy clothes, drug habits, bad publicity...etc....If she was the queen of pop, perhaps she would have written a complete song on her own...say like Madonna? hmm...

I do, however, plan on going out to purchase a new Rob Zombie DVD tonight, perhaps take a look at the new Piggy D release...But definitely no Britney for me. Ever. And really, her songs ARE boring...they sound lazy, and unfinished and unsubstantial. And if you think this is "top notch" then you really must have low standards.You don't have to be "indie" to have talent...you do however have to have some sort of a clue about something...and she doesn't.Everyone is allowed to like what they want, it's their opinion, and in my opinion the people that would gravitate towards liking the crap that was recorded for this album (not to mention the crap that was slapped together and called a front cover)have pretty bad taste. i have no problem with dance music. i have a problem with some low IQ girl tricking people into buying albums and making her rich. and to think, you fools are still sticking up for her as if you have some sort of attachment to her. fools.
