We heard that People magazine offered $6 million for the first photos of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's newborn twins, and now the story is Jennifer made a few demands before accepting the offer. Supposedly she wants Marc to be the photographer and asked that the magazine stop referring to her as "J Lo." People has already denied the rumors, but we all know she wants to separate herself from her old alter ego. So tell us — are you ready to give up the J Lo nickname?

i think that it's a good move for her to try to get away from the jlo personal. she's a mom but aside from that - she's really not doing that same style of music anymore is she? she's been recording her spanish album and i think that she's just moving away from all things past.

What I was trying to say is that Jennifer Lopez is not and has not been known as J.Lo in the film industry, those that know her or work with her proffessionally call her Jennifer Lopez...I guess, I don't get why everyone is so up in arms about this. J.Lo is for the fans, HER fans....If you don't like her you don't like her. And doesn't matter what we refer to her as. I for one would be JOYOUS if E!News, ET, Access Hollywood, EXTRA, People Magazine and all those other outlets stopped being lazy and reffered to most stars with their full names and stopped tryin' to be hip. It's like the dorky parent that tries to speak 'teenspeak.' Or the nerdy white kid trying to be ghetto. Enough is enough. Jen has a point!

I would like to say that Jennifer Lopez did not give HERSELF the nickname J.Lo, she partially adopted. A lot of the guys...rappers...from the neighborhood had like mixtapes and songs were they would drop her name. They would say, "I want a girl like Jenny Lo..." and it caught on in the inner circle. She titled her 2nd album that and named her initial (or main) clothing line that but she still made The Wedding Planner and Enough and in that respect she was still Jennifer Lopez. I think it's a special nickname but may not fit her anymore, she's older and she is a mom. In many ways she will always be "J.Lo" but too many people in the media nickname stars something stupid. I don't believe this is her reason for dropping at all, it's just my opinion. I hate hearing Lindsay Lohan being called "Li.Lo" or Tom and Katie being called "TomKat" I'm okay with the J.Lo think because it is a little more legitimate, it had a purpose and something behind it. W/ all these other celebrities it just laziness and a lack of creativity.

I understand not liking Jennifer or Mark but why pick on the poor kids. Some people are judging the babies on looks when they didn't ask to be famous or even to be born.
