The cast of Hairspray has been promoting their film like crazy! Yesterday they performed on The Today Show. There has been a lot of hype and apparently it's very entertaining. This weekend the film finally opens -- have you been bitten by the bug too? Will you see Hairspray this weekend?

i saw it, it was great. it was nice to go to a movie and truly enjoy every second. i'm kind of surprise at the amount of people that have no interest. its one of the few movies i've ever seen that actually lives up to the hype. and i was really worried it wouldn't.

I DEFINATELY won't see it for the simple fact that its just another remake. I mean, seriously, doesn't anyone have any creative talent anymore or are we running out of ideas? Every second movie that comes out of Hollywood is a remake and they're never as good as the originals. Why? Because if you change it too much from the original you piss off the traditionalists who loved the movie but if you don't change it enough there's no imagination involved at all which makes for one boring re-run featuring ugly overpaid actors..

everyone said it was good and it got great reviews so i definitely want to see it. but that girl on the far right is extremely short. haha.

i hate to say it but the main reason why i will not see this movie is because of john travolta. michelle pfeiffer looks fabulous as does the rest of the cast. but just like i wont see a tom cruise or lindsay lohan movie, same goes for john.great story and cast, though! (for the most part)

I am so watching it. I've always wanted to see the broadway production of it but never got the chance. This movie looks awesome. I love musicals so I know I will love it + JOHN TRAVOLTA as a woman?? Hilarious. I also can't wait to see Nikki in her staring role and James Marsden singing.Can't wait!"you can't stop the beat"
