Are You Still as Interested in American Idol?

More than 40 million people tuned in to watch as David Cook was crowned American Idol last week, and he and David Archuleta have been everywhere since then. This morning the train stopped at the Today Show, where Cook discussed how he attracts the older ladies. We know it's only been a week, but tell us — are you still as interested in American Idol?

Only the first season was good...meaning Kelly Clarkson. Then it became this "OMG, this is a way I can get famous" kind of show

i fail to see why kurt cobai would be rolling over in his grave. David has done nothing nor has he sang anything to make someone believe he was trying to be cobain.

I'm not a big fan anymore. I was years ago but now it's too corny and you can pretty much predict who's going to win anyway, once you get so far in the show.

Romaniagirl...I thought I was the only who thought that about Jason Castro ..except that his voice reminded me more of Enrique but pretty close huh !!! I liked him too and I like both the Davids...also kinda liked Christy Lee Cook's style ....

I'm only interested in ONE of the Davids - the one that actually won. I could take or leave Archie.

The show is entertaining, but I don't ever watch it live. It's mostly a waste of time with all the commercials and fluffy stuff in between the performances. I always DVR it so I don't vote either, But I did enjoy some of the performers especially these two and Jason Castro was kind of unique with his Julio Eglesias voice. And now that the season is over so is my interest in the show.

Cook is a faux-rocker who sings songs about rainbows and does ads for Disney. Kurt Cobain is rolling over and laughing in his grave.

I wasn't interested during the season and I'm not interested now. It was cool like the first two seasons but I've been over it for awhile I can't believe people are still watching it.

Other. I haven't been interested in the actual show since Season 2. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry are the only success stories here.

Yes! I am a big fan. I really like both David A. and David C. and I'd have been happy to see either take the title. Don't hate on Archuleta! I'm excited to hear both their music.

Love David Cook... His voice is really sexy... I watch Idol cause love to hear what Simon has to say. He is so entertaining.

No runner-up has ever trailed along this much. Clay Aiken got more attention than Ruben Studdard, but he wasn't along on all the publicity stuff like Archie is. It's obvious AI wanted him to win and since he didn't, they still going to cram him down our throats.
