Is Zach Hanging up his Scrubs?

Zach is back on the set filming the 6th season of Scrubs, but he's thinking this could be his last year on the show. In fact, it may even be the last year of the show... no one knows for sure, but since the show is narrated through Braff's JD character it would be kinda hard for it to keep going. Zach said,

"My guess is that this will be my last season," he told Premiere magazine. "Whether or not they continue without me, I don't know. I have had this amazing run on the show and I love it and I'm so grateful, but I want to make movies full time."

Most actors want to make the transition from TV to the movie world, but it's not that easy. Big shot Zach has had some great success in writing and directing Garden State. Let's hope he doesn't get too cocky and forget his little friends on Scrubs.

i kind of love everything zach touches, but, i'll be really sad if he leaves scrubs. :( i'm really excited to see 'the last kiss' though...esp cause it has rachel bilson and aw, she can do no wrong.

I heard his next movie Last Kiss is good. So I'm sure that's going to be success. I'm definitely excited to see it.

nooooooooo!!!!! Scrubs is my favourite show!! I must start some sort of petition, "Save Scrubs!" I really love Zach though, and if this means he'll do more amazing movies like Garden State I guess i'll have to accept it.

Scrubs was a good show but I think it's been on awhile so I won't be sad if it's ending. I also think he has gotten the big head in hollywood

he might not be textbook pretty, but he has charisma that could fill a room, a great smile, amazing sense of humor and is S-E-X-Y! "Garden State" was awesome and he loved the time he spent making that movie (read his blogs). I think it's better when hit shows call it a day while they are still popular ("friends"), rather than crash and burn ("roseanne", "will and grace".....etc...) but, ya, i agreee: hope that movie success he's got doesn't make his big head bigger.
