We've been smitten with New York-based party company Keren Precel Events for some time, but this British-inspired birthday party has taken our love to a new level. Keren was inspired to create an ode to England by her 2-year-old client Bennett's room. "Bennett's wallpaper was white and filled with British icons," Keren says. "It was youthful, but not babyish or childish, and I decided the whole look of the party would be something similar that would appeal to both children and adults." Not only does this party feature one of the coolest cakes we've ever seen, but also, it's stocked full of savory treats that appeal to kids of all ages, on both sides of the pond. Baby bytes, anyone? Leila Lewis of Inspired By This definitely thought outside of the box when it came time to plan a shower for her good friend Carissa Jones of floral and event styling company JL Designs. The theme: Space Invaders (quite appropriate, if you think about it, right?). From that jumping off point, Leila, along with industry friends at Jesi Haack Design, Wedding Chicks, and Cherish Paperie, created one of the most inventive baby showers we've ever seen.
With sweet and savory snacks like robot cake pops and "micro chips" as well as awesome backdrops and beautiful blooms, courtesy of the mom-to-be, this shower somehow makes old-school robots look modern, cute, and totally baby shower friendly. Keep clicking to see all the mega details.

Shopping for a baby shower gift can be more difficult than you might think. If you're not in a position to buy those big-ticket bedding sets, monitors, or furniture items, you're usually left with a ton of inexpensive items that really don't feel gift-worthy on their own. While creating your own gift set with a variety of little items like onesies, toys, blankets, and books is a good idea, we have an even better one: pick up a premade gift basket made by a totally on-trend kid company like The Land of Nod or DwellStudio. We found seven gift baskets that will ensure your present is the hit of the baby shower! Keep clicking for the one that works best for the mom-to-be.
April 28 is National Superhero Day! My 21-month-old recently began calling herself "Super Mae," and while I'm not sure I should be encouraging her dreams to fly through the skies and walk through walls in the long term, for now, I'm quite happy to cheer on her new identity. If you have a budding super-little-man or -little-woman on your hands, too, get them in the hero game with one of the following 16 superhero finds for kids. From design-your-own capes and awesome wall art to stuffed hero toys, these finds will help your kids become super in no time.
Summer Watkins, the stylish mind behind Grey Likes Weddings and Grey Likes Baby, is inundated with some of the most beautiful events out there, so when it came time to throw a baby shower of her own, celebrating her sister Brittany, it had to be a showstopper.
Summer partnered with tableware company Casa de Perrin to craft an old-world, romantic concept, full of tulle and sequin table linens, antique Persian rugs, and gorgeous blooms. "We wanted it to be a glamorous baby shower, which you don't see too often," Summer says. "The sequin linens from La Tavola are just way too good, aren't they?" A sweet and savory biscuit bar and a gorgeous cake made by the grandma-to-be were just two more must-see elements at this baby shower, beautifully photographed by Summer's other sister, Hayley of T&H Photography. Finding a cool mobile that adds style to your nursery, but is also appealing to your baby can be a harder task than most new moms realize. Go with those ubiquitous big-box store mobiles and you'll get the lights, colors, and sounds that just might make your newborn fall in love with his crib — which for some new moms can feel like an impossible goal — but you're stuck looking at a plastic monstrosity in your otherwise-chic baby's room. Scour the upscale baby boutiques, and you'll find some incredible mobiles, but they can come with some equally outstanding price tags. Not to worry! We've scoured one of our favorite sources for creative decor, Etsy, and have found 20 gorgeous mobiles at a range of price points. The only problem now? Choosing just one!
Whether or not to include children in weddings is an age-old debate. Will they make it down the aisle? Will they steal the bride's show? Will they behave during dinner? Sometimes all you need is one showstopping detail to take your baby shower from blah to wow. In the case of this orange-and-blue shower, it's all about the letterpress paper details, created by Sabrena of Dear Lola for a shower she cohosted for a friend. "Our color palette was orange and light blue, and we infused various patterns (stripes and plaid) along with orange animals," Sabrena says. "It was so much fun to design all the paper pretties and even more special because it was for such a good friend." Sabrena went all out with the paper suite, designing invitations and registry cards, thank-you cards, "it's a boy" straw tags and address labels, and even coasters. Add in some famed cupcakes, a DIY tassel and name garland, and a cute advice station, and you have one simply sweet shower. Keep clicking for all the details.

"When you have a gorgeous and glamorous friend named Tiffany who just so happens to be expecting a baby boy, hosting a 'Breakfast With Tiffany' baby shower is a no-brainer," says Jen Carver, the party guru behind Banner Events. "My friend Vivian and I wanted to create a pretty breakfast setting with pops of glitz and glamour."
To make her vision come to life, Jenn recruited some of the best party minds in the business, including one of our favorite printable designers, Anders Ruff, and 4 Kids Cakes, which provided a beautiful, totally impressive flower-box-esque creation. An incredible breakfast-food buffet (mini pancakes and parfaits and a powdered-doughnut tower were just some of the highlights), a cute diaper cake, and so much more made this one of the most detail-filled showers we've ever seen (and we think Audrey would approve!).
Want to encourage your child to grow a green thumb and eat healthy, fresh foods this Summer? Follow the lead of Burlington, VT-based mom Ariela of Sweet Happy Life, who recently built a toddler snacking garden for her 2-year-old son. Though Ariela lives in an apartment with a small balcony, she still found the space to create a green, growing play area and garden. "The idea for a snacking garden came from one of my favorite books on gardening," she says. "It's called Roots, Shoots, Buckets & Boots, and in it author Sharon Lovejoy shared the concept of an edible garden filled with tasty treats that kids could pluck off the plant and pop right into their mouths." Keep reading to find out how to build your own snacking garden.

Jenni Kayne is not only a successful fashion designer and one of the founders of chic kid street-style site Ladys & Gents. She's also a mom to two little ones, including Tanner, who recently celebrated a birthday!
"For Tanner's fourth birthday, all he wanted was a pirate party," Jenni says. "We all channeled our inner pirate, which made the party that much more festive! I loved seeing all the kids in their adorable costumes. Most importantly, Tanner had so much fun and has been sleeping with a pirate's chest ever since." Check out all the highlights (tons of pirate-inspired decor, a face painter, and even the "real" Jack Sparrow), all of which, of course, have a hip spin thanks to Tanner's superstylish mama!
