Brad Pitt made a special appearance at the MTV Movie Awards in LA on Sunday night. He presented the award for movie of the year to The Avengers. Brad may be up for his own golden popcorn next year, if World War Z gets a nomination following its June release.
Brad made the award-show stop during a break from family time. He's been hanging on the West Coast with his kids while Angelina Jolie has been busy traveling. She popped up in London for the G8 summit last week and returned home to LA with Maddox by her side just in time for the weekend. The whole Jolie-Pitt crew was together last month, though, when they spent Easter weekend in Santa Barbara, CA.

One of the evening's performers, Selena Gomez, went gold in a Julien Maconald number, while Kim Kardashian showed off her baby bump in black. Zoe Saldana, who also took the stage to present, chose a floral Givenchy look, and Kerry Washington went dramatic as well in a yellow-and-black Michael Kors gown. Liam Hemsworth brought the heat, literally, to Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards in LA. He took the stage, which was lit with flames, to present the first teaser for Catching Fire. The clip showed Liam, Jennifer Lawrence, and Josh Hutcherson in their Hunger Games characters and also revealed a peek at Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch. Jennifer wasn't on hand for the show, and Liam's brother also missed out on a big night. Chris Hemsworth and his Avengers costars won movie of the year, but Chris was unable to attend since he was busy traveling back from the Caribbean, where he witnessed Matt Damon's vow-renewal ceremony over the weekend.
Bradley Cooper took the MTV Movie Awards stage at the Sony Pictures Studio in LA on Sunday night. He was the winner of the golden popcorn for best male performance for his role in Silver Linings Playbook. Bradley also took home the statue for best kiss with Jennifer Lawrence, though she wasn't on hand to accept the honor, since she's on the East Coast filming her next David O. Russell project. I am so excited and nervous for the performance tonight."
