Readers absolutely adored Amy Adams's hair and makeup at the Golden Globes, so we got the lowdown on how it was done. For her hair, Essensuals London owner Laini Reeves created a low, tousled bun. She rough-dried Amy's hair for volume and went in with a curling iron to create messy texture. She pulled all of Amy’s hair together in a loose braid, and then rolled it up and pinned it to the nape of her neck. To finish off, she pulled a few strands out and curled them with a curling iron.
For Amy's eyes, makeup artist Molly Stern used Lancôme Color Design Five Pan Palette in Taupe Craze, out in February, and Le Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner in Minuit ($25.50). For her lips, she used Color Design Matte Lipcolor in Stylista ($22) topped with Le Absolu Nu in Evening Lace, which is available in March.
