Ahead of her win for best actress in a comedy, Amy Adams had our heads turning when she stepped onto the red carpet sporting a bevy of braids in her hair and some natural, '70s-era makeup. "I wanted to give the hair a more textured look to complement the simple, clean lines of Amy's gorgeous Valentino dress," hairstylist Laini Reeves said. Get her full hair and makeup breakdown below!

Reeves prepped Amy's hair with Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Body Booster Mousse ($10) before blowing it dry to create a smooth finish. She then sectioned off her locks into four pieces before plaiting it back. The remaining strands were swept into a tight ponytail, pinned into a bun, and sprayed with Charles Worthington Style Setting Max Hold Hairspray ($10). Reeves then pulled the braids by the ears around the top of the bun, and the top braids were pulled down and around the bun for a lifted effect.

All products will be available in Target stores and online starting in March.

For her makeup, Stephen Sollitto for Laura Mercier focused on bronzed, glowing skin. "This whole season, in a nod to Amy's movie American Hustle, we have been inspired by the '70s," he said. After applying foundation to Amy's face, Solitto added a light dusting of Laura Mercier Bronzing Pressed Powder in Matte Bronze ($32), followed by Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline ($24) to heighten her glow.

Amy's simple eye look was actually created using a few layers of Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour ($23); Sollitto laid down Ballet Pink before brushing on Terracotta. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Plum ($26) was applied to Amy's upper lash line and the outer corner of her lower lash line. Dior Diorshow Blackout Mascara ($25) completed her palette.

Amy's nails were painted by Tom Pecheux, who opted for a very clean, classic nail look. L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail Collection Privee in Eva's Nude was applied in two coats.
