will be joining forces with sexy-dress brand Hervé Léger. Come Fall, Avon will launch Hervé Léger Femme ($34), a woody floral scent with notes of pink grapefruit, magnolia flower, orange flower with honeywood, cypress wood, vanilla, and warm benzoin tears.
Also joining the line will be a men's scent, Hervé Léger Homme ($30), a spicy wood fragrance with notes of ginger, yuzu, smoldering woody notes, and amber. (Not sure why the men's scent is a few dollars cheaper than the women's.) The outer faux-wrapped packaging screams sensuality, an obvious nod to the clothing brand's image. "The bottles were designed to capture the iconic shape of the quintessential Hervé Léger dress, echoing the 'bandage' effect that makes the designs so distinctive," chief designer Max Azria told WWD.
In terms of fragrance, Avon has really been going for it as of late, with collaborations with high-end designers like Emanuel Ungaro, Christian Lacroix, and Cynthia Rowley. Take that, coupled with the brand's celebrity scent partnership with the likes of Zoe Saldana, Patrick Dempsey, Fergie, Reese Witherspoon, and Courteney Cox, and Avon's really building quite the stylish reputation for itself.
