BellaSugar's Top Five Cream Blush Picks

BellaSugar's Top Five Cream Blush Picks

Ever since I started toying around with cream blush about a year ago, I've been hooked. I'm not really into anything too shimmery — I like to leave that to the more spreadable luminizers — but I've been having a field day with pinky-brown tones like By Terry's Rose de Rose Sheer Liquid Blush in Fresh Rose that I told you about earlier in the week. Each of these items leaves my face looking flushed, hydrated and even a little dewy in a natural way. It's as though I've just drunk a bottle of water and gone for a brisk walk. Here are my other four fave cream blush discoveries; what's your top pick?

I'll probably stick to powder - it gives my face a nice finish...

I like powder blushes - tried cream ones before and wasn't a huge fan. I'm willing to give it another go though, some of those look very pretty!

cream blush has never worked for me because I have oily skin - anyone know of any well suited for oily skin?

I absolutely love Stila cc, but I have it in Lillium. I've been dying to try Scott Barnes color.

All of these are great colors but a little too expensive for me right now. Maybe one someday soon when I use up some of the stuff I already have.

I have Stilla convertable color in lillium & I really like it. I tried getting the Peony but it was sold out at the time. I also have a cream blush by Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy. I find it a little easier to use that the one by Stila, i'll try using a sponge like you suggested Bella, thanks!

I have Stila in Peony and I love it. I apply with my fingers and it comes out very natural.

Oh, they all look so pretty. I've always been a sucker for cream blushes and the sort, but I heard they're bad for oily-ish skin. I also wanted to try Dior Show's cream blush.

Francoise, I would try the Benefit one if I had your combo skin, so you're on the right track. It isn't greasy at all and goes on smoothly. I'm wearing it today!

I used to always be so scared of cream blush because it seemed so hard to apply, but I've heard about how natural and great it is so I finally bought the Stila convertible in Peony and I now love it. I apply it with my fingers and it really is fabulous. It's easy to use and looks great!

I have some from Sonia Kushuk cream blush I bought from Target not too long ago and I love it. It's a dusty rose/pink color and it looks so much more natural than powder blush.

I don't know if I can wear cream blush having skin that's naturally kind of oily. I wanted to check out the Benefit one though.

Stila Rouge Pots are great. Creamy and luminous without being too heavy, and the color looks lovely on bare skin. I've been using those for years.
