Long-lasting lipstick comes in handy for plenty of situations: date nights, birthdays, weddings, and any other time reapplying is a problem. But which ones really stick around as promised? We tried a bevy of long-wear lip colors to see which ones stood the test of time and found three with staying power that will thrill any lipstick lover.
Lip color that stays put is every lipstick lover's dream, but finding one that doesn't smooch off or disappear when you down your morning coffee is tough. So I tried out long wear lip color to see which ones stand the test and found three you'll totally fall in love with. Mabelline Super Stay didn't rub off on a tissue when I tried it, which sold me. I didn't keep it on the full 24 hours, but it did last me a full work day. It's a step above the average lipstick because you apply the color, let it set, and then apply the balm it comes with for a glossier look, and feel. Make-up Forever is not lipstick. Glides on the lips smoothly. It isn't rough at all. And dries to a lasting finish. Plus it doesn't flake like some matte lipsticks can. Lastly Clarins makes a lipstick that not only rich in color, but it's nourishing too. It's a tad shinier than most long wear lipstick and it didn't last as long as the others, but it kept for about four hours, which is great for events that you can't constantly reapply at, like weddings. Long wear lip color doesn't only last throughout the day, it also keeps really well in your makeup drawer since you don't frequently have to reapply it. And remember, with long wear color make sure that you have an oil based makeup remover on hand hand for neat and easy removal or else you might have a case of the Joker face. I'm Kirby and thanks for watching Bella Sugar TV.
