A Blue, Winged Eyeliner Look

Learn This Blue-Winged Eye Makeup Look

Check out this excerpt of a bold blue eye makeup tutorial from OnSugar blog, cee me:

I was still in a Formula 1 mood today and I was thinking about the "Red Bull gives you wings" slogan, so I did a blue-winged eyeliner look. . . I started with my brows. Normally I do nothing to them, but with a very defined eye, I thought a defined brow would look amazing. I used my Tweezerman tweezers to pluck any stray hairs and then used Cork and Models Own Angled Eyeliner Brush to add a little color to them. I then used MAC Soft Ochre as a base and some Brule to set it. With a MAC 266 Angled Liner Brush, I took some MAC Fluidline in Waveline and first made the outer corners. Learn the rest of the look when you keep reading.

How did I make them even? Well, I first looked at the lower lashline, and then used the brush to stamp the outer edge of the line first. I stamped it to look like the lower lashline continued upwards. I then slowly made the inner part of the line, and then made it thicker on the outer corner, slowly building up the line until it went to the top part of the stamped line. I then waited for the line to dry and then used a blue eyeliner by Sephora to line my lower, and a black Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Zero on my upper lashline. I curled my lashes a little and then used Rimmel London Sexy Curves in Waterproof Black.

@Postmodernsleaze, if you use an angled liner brush you have more of the stiffness you're used to in the stiff pens you use.

Ah, this looks awesome! I can never do a winged liner look without liquid liner, though. I'm stupid when it comes to using an eyeliner brush. I need the thin, stiff pen to do cat-eye and winged liner looks. But, I like this look so much that I might just sit down in front of a mirror when I have some free time and practice :)
