British Twins Get Identical Facelifts on the Same Day

Identical Twins Get Identical Plastic Surgery

For one pair of identical twins, everything has to be the same — including, apparently, their faces after plastic surgery. Christine Martin and Diane Reeve, 54-year-old sisters, recently had facelifts on the same day. "We didn’t want to look different from one another, even for a single day," Reeve told the Daily Mail.

Naturally, their work was done by the same doctor, who worked on Christine in the morning and Diane in the afternoon. I know twins who enjoy dressing alike and fooling people into thinking that one is the other, but this is the first case of identical plastic surgery I've heard about. Think it's a kooky, cute twin thing or doubling-up gone too far?

Do most surgeons do one operation a day?

^ Unfortunately, money talks. No one should have done to Heidi Montag in one day what was done to her.

Yeah, I think in general -- whatever kind of doctor you're seeing -- it's a good idea to follow his or her advice.

Okay I read the article and the only thing I find weird is:"It was hard to find a surgeon who would do both our operations as it would mean eight hours of operating. But eventually we did. And the results have been fantastic."If a doctor was hesitant to do both in one day, I would have said, okay fine, do one on Thursday and one on Friday...I wouldn't want to be the second sister going in after the doctor is tired!!! If a number of doctors say no, then I think you need to accept that important medical advice!

no, I think this sounds pretty okay to meI mean they wanted a facelift and all their lives they've looked identical so I could understand wanting to do this togetherI mean, why not? Would it seem less creepy if one waited a week then did it? And it's not like they both got identical nose jobs or chin implants or something...they are getting what is considered a "normal" procedure for an older woman, and it won't change what they look like per se, it will just change their older features to look like themselves younger
