CHI Touch Screen Hair Dryer Review

Does CHI's Touch Screen Hair Dryer Really Dry Better? We Found Out

CHI recently released a new hair dryer that requires no buttons to function. Instead, it has a touch screen that allows you to regulate the power, heat, and ions based on your hair type. Is it too good to be true? We put the CHI to the test against a dryer of similar strength to see if it delivers better results — and if it's truly worth the beauty investment. Disclosure: a sample of the CHI Touch Screen Dryer was provided by Pierce Mattie Public Relations.

We're constantly on the search for the latest products to speed up our beauty routine and the CHI Touch Screen hair dryer claims to do just that. So, we're going to put this fancy tool to the test to see if it lives up to the hype. What makes this dryer different is that instead of buttons it has this really fancy touchscreen which allows you to personalize the settings depending on what type of hair you have. You adjust the power and the temperature depending on if you have fine, medium or coarse hair, which actually helps to protect it and customizes the entire experience. Like many other dryers, it has a ceramic heater and ion technology which helps to speed up the drying process, but this one cleans to smooth out your hair so it's not frizzy after the blowout. But the question still remains, does it work? So, I'm going to test it out. On this side, I'm going to use the CHI, and on this side I'm going to use a non-touch screen hair dryer to see if it lives up to what it says. Now all the settings are going to be the same. High power and high heat. But on the CHI, I'm going to change the ions so that it's for fine hair which is what I have and I'm going to use a nozzle on both hair driers. I'll admit, I was a little bit skeptical, but the CHI really worked its magic. With my regular 1800 watt dryer, it took about 5 minutes, and it's a little bit frizzy. But the CHI only took 2 1/2 minutes, and it left my hair soft and smooth. Many other dryers provide a quick and smooth blowout, but if you love the newest technology and want a personalized drying experience, pick up the CHI hairdryer, because it really does work. Keep watching for more beauty finds. I'm Kirby and thanks for watching Bella Sugar TV.
