From the geometric prints to the flirty lashes, it looks like Carolina Herrera gave Twiggy a red carpet makeover for her Spring 2014 collection. "It's a modern take on Twiggy," explained makeup artist Diane Kendal for MAC Cosmetics. She used two sets of lashes — one on the top and another on the bottom — and black eyeliner to create that classic '60s look. The cheeks had a pop of pink, while the lips had a pale wash of color.
Orlando Pita created the double french twist that was inspired by the shape of a shell. "Carolina wanted very groomed hair," which is exactly what he created with Spirulina Hairspray ($26), which has a glossy finish to it. With the side part and slicked-back hair, it was still reminiscent of Twiggy's sleek pixie. And for the final touch, Gina Edwards polished the nail with a sheer creamy polish, Morgan Taylor Nails Heaven Sent ($3).
