Fashion and beauty always collide on the runway . . . but never on quite the level as this. At today's Chalayan show at Paris Fashion Week, nail art took on a whole new meaning with three looks that featured rows upon rows of those fake acrylic nail sets you'd find at your local salon when tasked to pick a color.
On one dress, the nails are more of your $12 mani variety — a range of solid whites, pinks, and reds. But on two other models, the nails get a major upgrade with intricate black-and-white designs, including stripes, polka dots, animal prints, and checked patterns. Whether you're a fan or not, one thing's clear: there's no need to match your dress to your manicure in one of these looks. Dare we say Chalayan nailed it?
