This Cheap Makeup Remover Is Right on Target

I don't know about you, but when I see the skincare aisle at Target, my eyes glaze over. There's so much variety that it's easy to become overwhelmed. Last time I was there, I didn't have time to compare every single makeup remover, so I thought, "Enh, I'll try the Target brand. It's cheap."

Well, not only is it less than $4, but it gets rid of most makeup with just one swipe. What's more, I am not alone in my love of the Target makeup remover. My friend Sabs and I do weekly ANTM-inspired photo shoots. (You know, because we have awesome hobbies like that.) The last time we had a makeup-intensive look, I reached for that blue-tinted bottle. "Oh, that stuff is great," she said. "And cheap!" Which pretty much sums it up. There are lots of other good removers out there, but if you just want an effective and simple one, look no further.

So, is it comparable to Pond's?

I loathe eye makeup remover, as it always irritates my eyes and leaves my vision clouded for several minutes after use (what am I doing wrong?). Instead, I've found that a creamy face wash (such as Neutrogena's, or a cleansing milk) removes eye makeup just as well. Any stray smudges can be gotten with a cotton swap and some regular fragrance-free lotion.

The Neutragena eye make up romover that is comparable to this one irritates my eyes. It dries out my eyelids and make them puffy. I'm not sure in love with this product.

Anon, it's oil-free but it does have slip, as others have said. It doesn't sting my eyes, but YMMV.

Meh, tried it and found it too oily for me. IMHO, not good for sensitive eyes either.

I've used this remover for a year, and I LOVE it. Might be a little oily, but that's actually good for my dry eye area.

It actually does work..I've used this and I have to say it's a lot better than some of the other more expensive stuff I've tried

I use Simple oil free eye makeup remover. It's so good and smells nice too! (I'm a bit of a Simple addict)

I have this too and I have to agree, but it is a bit on the oily side, but just as effective.

Looks like a direct knockoff of Neutrogena's oil-free remover, which I adore. Thanks for the tip!

will have to try. Most makeup removers leave black mascara smudges around my eyes - so frustrating!

Thanks for the info! I usually never buy makeup remover. I just use the ones that come in the free gifts with make up purchases. Mine is about to run out, so I'll have to try this one out.
