Chloe Fall 2010 Makeup

Paris Fashion Week: Chloe

Pair a sultry-toned peach hue that dominated looks of the late 1970s with a modern smoky eye, and you've got Chloe's universally flattering (and sexy) runway look. "It's the makeup of French actresses — Dominique Sanda, Carole Bouquet — very expensive and ultra-luxe," said lead makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. Tilbury and her team worked with MAC products.

  • Eyes: Apply Pro Cream Color Base in Air Force Blue to the lids. Next, mix the Cream Base with the Pro Paint Stick in Black and blend into the crease. Use the same mixture on the lower lash lines and blend for a seamless finish. Apply mascara at the roots for drama. For non-Pro options, try blending the shades in MAC's Eye Shadow Quad in Tone Grey together as a replacement for the Cream Color and use MAC Cream Color Base in Black in lieu of the Paint Stick.
  • Complexion: Blend Studio Sculpt Foundation with Mineralize All-Over Lotion to sheer out the texture. For a satin matte finish, apply Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.
  • Cheeks: Use a matte, taupe-colored blush, like MAC Powder Blush in Coppertone, Buff, or Prism on the cheekbones, blending up to the temples.
  • Lips: Pat on Freckletone Lipstick.
