At cutie Chris Benz's show, French yé-yé singer France Gall was the big beauty muse. Makeup artist Daniel Martin turned to the gallic gal for his '60s-style look. Backstage, he used Lancôme’s new-for-spring Color Design Minérale Eye Shadow Quad in Cool Lavande, placing the lavender shade from lid to crease. Then, he applied a straight line of Artliner (a pen eyeliner) in Noir along the top lash line, avoiding a cat eye look. Black eyeliner also rimmed the eyes, while a few dots of Artliner along the bottom lash line created a false-lash illusion. Light contouring with Blush Subtil in Mauve Coquette provided more structure to the face, while skin sported medium-coverage foundation. To top it all off, Martin went with a '60s mod staple: a slightly lavender pink lipstick, L’Absolu Rouge in Lily Rose. A French-girl style that's totally wearable? To this we say yay, yay. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
