What's better than a pair of red-soled Christian Louboutin pumps? Chic Louboutin nail art (OK, maybe the manicure is a close second). This season the French cordwainer-turned-polish-purveyor launched a limited-edition trio of polishes. The Python Vulcano set ($90) takes after the colorful shoes in the designer's Spring 2015 collection. The packaging is printed with a Jackson Pollock-inspired pattern, and the three miniature bottles — Salonu (white), True Blue (periwinkle), and Hot Chick (yellow) — are stored inside. In addition to the polishes, Louboutin reimagined the french manicure with an original nail art design using the shades. Keep reading to get the step-by-step breakdown of the look. Step 1

Apply your base coat, and then draw a curved line following the free edge of your natural nail using the royal-blue shade, True Blue. Pro tip: if your line isn't quite smooth, use a flat angled brush to clean around the edge with polish remover.

Next, apply the sunny yellow hue, Hot Chick, in a similar arched pattern. Make sure to leave some of the blue visible. Finish this french manicure with one layer of topcoat.
