Clarisonic Pedi System Review | Video

Now You Can Use a Clarisonic on Your Feet

Let's face it: your feet aren't the most glamorous part of your beauty routine, but they deserve just as much attention as the rest of your body (and we're talking more than your standing pedicure appointment). Clarisonic recently released a new brush kit, the Pedi Sonic Foot Transformation System ($199), just for your feet. (Editor's note: the pedicure brush set was sent to us by Clarisonic for review.) The brand's star product, its rotating facial cleansing brush, is already a must have among celebrities and beauty editors, so see why you'll want to get your hands on this pedicure-perfecting tool.

Oh man, I was looking for a cleansing brush out of sheer boredom when I found the product page for this interesting and useful tool. There isn't a need for replacing the head, and as in the description, it is waterproof and made from silicone.

The sonic cleansing brush actually signals you when to change to a different zone of your face. You start with your chin and jaw-bone area making sweeping motions for fifteen seconds each side, then to your forehead--one side, then the other--and then you turn the vibration down on the nodules to cleanse the more sensitive area under the eyes and the nose area. Pressing the central button, you wash your face off, and then go through the shorter anti-aging routine with the specialized backside of concentric rings focusing above your nose, between your eyebrows, the temples and the spot where marionette or laugh lines occur.

The buttons are like an iphone; very minimal and easy to figure out. The center button is on/change mode/off and the plus/minus buttons changes the degree of nodule vibration. The clear base has a bright LED light which looks cool in the shower when you set it down. There is a lock function too so it doesn't go off in your bag during travel.

This is really useful for getting your stubble out onto the surface before shaving also. I found that I had a cleaner shave after using this product.

I would have made this with a USB charger just like most other gadgets we use daily. It has a waterproof AC input, but still--it would have been slightly more awesome with a mini-USB port instead.

Make sure you use a face wash product you like, and turn down the vibrations if your face finds it too intense.
