Denise Richards's Boob Job

Is Denise Richards's Boob-Job Admission TMI?

This week, Denise Richards told Howard Stern that she's had three breast-augmentation surgeries. (Once, twice, three times a lady?) She had her first surgery when she was 19. "I was flat as a board, and I thought 'Whoa, you can just buy them' and stupidly had them done," she said. Unfortunately, they were too big for her frame, so she had them replaced — with even larger ones. She found what she was looking for the third time around, though she now says, "It was a big mistake. Young girls, don't do it!"

I appreciate it when people are open about the work they've had done, if only because I appreciate transparency. But to go on and on about it can be overload. In this case, do you think Denise's admission is spot-on, or is it too much information?

So what advice does she offer 19 year olds who are "flat as a board", other than don't do what she did twice?

normally, I would appreciate the honesty, but Denise is such a talentless fame whore that I'm annoyed by anything she says...

Denise should be thanked for telling young women not to do it. I had a reduction about 20 years ago and it is terribly painful. The results do not last. Doesn't matter what direction you go.

nope, I don't think it's TMI. it's not like she said "i just had sex in the car on the way here"... (billy bob). I like denise richards and her show.

i don't see how she could have gone under the knife 3 times and then say it was a mistake? i didn't listen to the show so maybe she was just constantly getting them fixed (corrected).

Hmm, I thought they were real. I just thought she was buxom, but yeah I do notice a difference now.

Denise Richards? Howard Stern? Seems like it was inevitable.

Whatever. So many people get boob jobs that it's no big deal, esp. in Hollywood. On a side note, she always seemed a little crazy to me.

I don't think it was too much information that she's had to her boobs done a couple times. Who cares? She only said it so that she'd be talked about.

It's nice to see someone actually admitting to having work done for a change.

I'd rather have someone openly talk about it rather than being coy or straight up denying what every one already knows (or should I say NOSE -- yes I'm talking to you Ashlee Simpson)It's not like she talked about the drainage tubes or lumpiness or scars etc, right? THAT would be TMI.

Eh. It's *Denise Richards*. But breast augmentation is a more common and accepted cosmetic surgery, so it's not considered taboo to talk about. I personally don't really want to hear about it, but it's any person's call.

It seems like everyone including those in the everyday population are having something nipped and tucked just to achieve for what is Hollywood's definition of beauty, but I don't look at those who decide to have some type of cosmetic procedure differently as long as they are doing it for themselves and not just to keep up with society.

It's just surgery...I don't think anyone should be ashamed, and talking about it is the best thing to do. You can give people out there considering having those surgeries insight, based on what other people have gone through.
