The beauty look was just as wearable as Raf Simons's fashion pieces at the Spring 2014 Dior couture show in Paris today. Models strutted down the runway with deep, side-parted hair with bangs sweeping across their faces. Brows were brushed up, mascara was light, white highlighter was dabbed at the inner corner of eyes, and skin was matte. Some of the models sported bold red lips, while others wore nude gloss. Nails were painted with the palest of pink hues, which is always a favorite of lazy girls as light shades don't show chips as easily.
The overall beauty look is a superb idea if you have five minutes to get ready for work in the morning — a deep side part can hide day-old strands, especially if you bring it into a low bun or ponytail. Strategically placed highlighter brightens the face, and a red lip always makes you look pulled together. Skipping heavy makeup on your cheeks and eyes allows your skin and lashes to breathe — just vamp it up at night if you have somewhere to go (or someone special to see!).
