"Sure, the pinup look is what made me famous," she said. "But do you know how much work it is to look like that? Consider all of the hair styling, manicures, lipstick, and other grooming I've been doing all these years. I'm tired. From here on out, I'll be performing in fleece sweatpants, Crocs, and Chapstick.
"I also want to get a spray tan," she added.
To prove her point, Dita invited reporters to sniff her wrists. "No more Dior," she said. "It's patchouli oil from now on!" She plans to retain her designer wardrobe for the time being, but her makeup collection has already been donated to the Burlesque Hall of Fame. (Click here to find out when the exhibit will open.)
