Women Are Braiding Their Hair Like Unicorn Horns and It Is Truly Magical

Do You Appreciate Haute Couture Hair?

At yesterday's beautiful Chanel haute couture show, models wore hairdresser Katsuya Kamo's intricately designed paper accessories on their heads. True to Chanel's heritage, they were either black or white, and many incorporated the house's signature camellia flower. I thought these details added a sense of fantasy to the clothing, but I have friends who prefer the more wearable hairstyles of ready-to-wear fashion shows. In general, do you like one approach more than the other?

Camellias are commonly grown as garden plants due to their gorgeous flowers and delicate scent. These showy blooms are often some of the first of the season. Camellias are slow growing evergreen shrubs with glossy, rounded leaves in temperate places, like the Pacific Northwest. Blooms can start as early as January and continue until April. These beautiful garden shrubs are a wonderful addition to any magical garden.regards ???through the wall exhaust fan

I think its very interesting to look at, but they're not actual wearable looks to wear off the runway.

I agree with erinalise. Fashion shows display creativity and artistic endeavor. I can appreciate haute couture hair displayed at fashion shows, but don't feel it's practical for everyday life.

I don't appreciate haute couture anything. What's the point? All that effort to prepare something that no one will/should wear.

What a lot of people don't realize... runway is a show. A lot of times it's only for shock factor, like works in an art gallery. I love to see different things on the runway... wearable or not really.

It is fun to see the artistry of it. And, if you think about it, the clothing on the catwalk are usually not wearable anyway - they are just to INSPIRE the latest "wearable" looks.

I never see any celebs wearing those outrageous outfits and hair.... and they would have a reason to wear them at least. I don't want to make a scene or someone wondering if I know how bad it looks.

I love it! "Wearable" hairstyles would be boring. It's haute couture! I think the crazy styles add to the clothing, not detract.

Sure none of the hairstyles are wearable for day-to-day outings, but neither are the clothes! I love seeing the couture hairstyles! So unique and artistic!

I wouldn't think of wearing any of the hairstyles on the runway, realistic or not. I find the "artistic" ones silly and distracting. The clothes should be the focus.

though very artistic and aesthetically pleasing, i don't know if it's quite "inspiring." thus, i voted no.

I love insane dresses, but I think the hair is silly and detracts from the clothes.

I do appreciate very much! we can see wearable looks everywhere else but the runway is a different story especially haute couture!

I think they're aesthetically interesting, and nice to look at. I don't need "wearable" looks, as I've got a limited repertoire anyway, and it doesn't really bother me. That crown of roses & thorns is awesome, though.

I don't understand - this was the haute couture show, so the hair and accessories are expected to be this way...

I would wear them all the time if they were culturally accepted...

They're cool to look at it sometimes, so I guess I do appreciate it...
