Do You Buy Discounted Fragrance?

Yesterday I stopped by Loehmann's for a little bargain hunting. No great hidden gems were to be had, but the place was positively overflowing with eaux de toilette. L by Gwen Stefani, Vera Wang Princess, even Prada — hundreds of bottles of perfume. Unfortunately, they were barely discounted, with Marc Jacobs Daisy costing only $3 less than retail. I passed, but I'm wondering: Do you buy discounted fragrance at off-price retailers, or do you skip it?

I certainly do! I got the bottle I have of Juicy Couture for $50 versus the $85 retail price. Stores like Marshall's and TJ Maxx have the best deals, and they always have great fragrance gift sets.

I got a set of Ralph Lauren Blue (fragrance & lotion) for $25 at Nordstrom Rack, and it sells for $60 in stores.

I haven't done this because I always have a stock of fragrances. But I would definitely do it though, especially if the price was considerably less. If its sold in a reputable discount store, like say Target, then why the heck not??

I have bought a few perfumes from Marshalls, TjMaxx and Ross. My mum and I usually buy them there for xmas presents for all my aunts. Its more affordable especially knowing that some of my aunts like perfume but don't wear it everyday its better to know that it was inexpensive so they didn't let a $70 bottle to waste.

no but maybe if I spray it on my clothes, hair etc.. not on my skin

If it's a fragrance I know and love, maybe. I've found a few that I've liked before. Problem is every time I go, the perfumes have been raided and ravaged, which is pretty nasty.

I have once or twice but wasn't satisfied with the scent. It seemed a little flat in the smell department... maybe old product?

I don't often buy perfume b/c it takes me forever to get through even those tiny bottles. BUT--One time I got a 3 piece Marc Jacobs set (full-sized perfume, travel size, and a lotion) for $30. Love Love Love!

Yes, yes I do. If they are reasonably priced and look new. They are the same as in department stores, only overstocked and resold. I don't always buy them, but check it out at Tj maxx and Marshall's. They usually get those tween or fruity perfumes the most, so I never buy those.

I never have, but then again, I've never really thought to look at a discount store for fragrances.

Yes, on a few conditions. It has to be a scent I already know I'll like, the cost has to be significantly lower ($15 or more) and the bottle MUST still be shrinkwrapped. I know the second one sounds obvious but I'm positively floored at the heathens who unwrap a bottle, test it, and then put it back in the box so the bottle looks full, but it's not.

My signature perfume is fairly cheap and Italian and impossible to find stateside, so I don't even get the opportunity to buy it on the cheap(er)! Outside of that, I wear mainly VS scents, which aren't crazy pricey anyway.
